  • if nothing happened that day this would’ve been the greatest concert of all time
  • @AyushPant
Travis probably felt untouchable during this performance and then moments later fell right back to the bottom life is a wild roller coaster man
  • This concert was my son's 17 birthday gift. We had a great spot right up front but ended up having to be pulled out of that area because the people around us started acting crazy & trampled on my son and others. Let me be clear this was an hour before Travis came out. Unfortunately, the ragers ruined this event for a lot of people. My son still says it was the best time of his life. I am just happy to have walked away with my son that night.

Mike Dean’s synth performance on Goosebumps is unbelievable

Can you imagine the people dying on the ground desperate for help and everytime he pauses thinking yes finally he heard us. But he just keeps hyping up the crowd and continues...the desperation omg

Insanely sad 2 years later watching this just confirms it. I was behind the huge Apple Music camera and not one single person around including me knew that people were minutes/seconds away from dying or being trampled etc. I left that concert saying to my best friend we might have attended one of the best shows of our lives and it’s only day 1. We get back to the hotel and my girlfriend from home was calling me making sure we were alright because there were overdoses (first rumor for cause of death) then slowly the news was released about the crowd surge. From the camera angle of the stage behind the artists, you can’t see shit in the crowd, just arms in the sky. Livenation or Apple Music should have lost millions/billions with that barrier design.

This could've gone down in history as the greatest concert ever. Rest in peace to those who lost their lives during this "show"
  • Once you know kids were dying during this it takes on a super dark, strange vibe man. Imagine fighting for your life while ethereal music plays, a massive glittering mountain towers above you, and Travis Scott screams with a giant glowing red tunnel behind him. How fucking surreal and terrifying it must have been. I mean the set and music were gorgeous, but juxtaposed with what we know now, it really just feels so otherworldly and disturbing. The dramatic irony would be almost funny if it wasn’t so horrifying. What a literal nightmare.

28:50 people are just staring at someone on the ground and filming.... at 29:55 you can see people desperately waving for help and a girl getting pulled over a railing. at 31:40 the crowd is silent after a song and that should have been the first red flag for TS. 33:05 the CLEAR calls for help. at 42:30-43:00 a body of someone who is unconscious is crowd surfed to the staff. WORTH MENTIONING THAT THIS IS THE TIME THAT THE EVENT WAS TOLD IT WILL BE SHUT DOWN FOR BEING A "MASS CASUALTY EVENT" BUT WASN'T AND STILL WENT ON FOR 30 MORE MINUTES. 43:11 more clear calls for help. at 43:53 they seem to be trying to keep the show going but the vibe on stage is clearly off and Travis seems to be done his random noise riffs, so they just cut the track and start a new one. at 59:11 you can see someone in red giving cpr in the crowd in the middle. also when he starts antidote around 50:30 i hear someone scream "i'm gonna die". at 1:05:45 you can see a group of people stranded in the middle of the crowd not filming moving or jumping. just trapped in a sea of people.. 1:08:15 a man passed out on the barrier and someone just filming over him as if he's not unconscious. is this crowd/staff/people on stage possessed??
  • As someone who was at the concert (near the back fortunately) I wasn’t able to tell that anyone was dying. For Travis, it would be even more harder to see anything since everything was dark. However, this concert was one of the best concerts I’ve ever experienced, which leaves me disappointed over the stereotypes Travis had to endure because of the factors out of his control.

first time coming back to watch this in a long time. i’ll always remember the insane energy all around me when he first came out to escape plan, you could feel it so intensely. everyone was LOSING THEIR MINDS!!! it was amazing, but it was only fun halfway through that first song. it got bad so quickly. i’d do anything to go back into time and allow this concert to go the right way, somehow someway… i know it’s not possible though. i need to accept it, but it has left me with so many mental wounds. what an unreal situation. it still boggles my mind every time i think about it. idk why i’m even typing this, most have probably moved on from feeling the way i do. but i will never forget the way i felt that night, and even now.

4:26 packed crowd/sea of people. one of the reasons this happened 21:26 security trying to control situation, gesturing for people to go back 24:39 travis help a fan "yo mike brown. make sure he good...walk with him. take him. take him." 26:21 crowd gesturing to the camera 27:50 crowd facing away from the stage and wavingfor help. 29:46 travis realize "there's an ambulance in the crowd. whoa-oh-oh." 30:02 he seems misunderstood of what is going on "wtf is that..." he asks if everyone is ok and then he speak w fans that went up stage (its a normal thing in travis shows, he invite his fans to stage) 33:30 travis gets in a plataform, may he could see the whole situation by being on top, but proceed 37:18 crowd surf in front of the ambulance 38:40 ambulance trying to leave 42:10 travis stops singing to help a fan "ohohohoh...we need someone to help him...someone passed out here...don't touch him. everybody just back up...somebody jump in. come on come on. security get in there. let's get in there" 54:10 drake shows up situation gets worse, he also didnt realiza whats going on 54:31 fan climb on top of the ambulance 1:08:14 blonde hair dude seems passed out in the fence while sec

Travis & Drake definitely peep the energy wasn’t as hype as they wanted. IG clips made me think TS just didn’t care but after watching this whole show I don’t believe they were aware that people were actually dying. The problem is whenever they did a crowd check most people cheered. If we didn’t know already know about the fatalities then who could really guess by this footage that people were dying? Too much mixed energy and poor communication on the whole event including the crowd.

I was actually there and had no idea what was going on until an hour AFTER the festival ended… it’s crazy to think about now… damn
