The Roman Cancel has always been at the core of Guilty Gear, and now with Strive simply put the mechanic is the most complex and in-depth its ever been! This video will walk you through the basics of roman cancels, and then go more and more in depth with a lot of the applications. The advanced segment at the end is only the absolute tip of the iceberg! In time we will find even crazier things and impossibly savage setups! This is the type of stuff that would take me AGES to figure out on my own. If I can convince my friends to try Strive, I know where to send them when they eventually, but inevitably ask "wtf does this red circle do?"

I only briefly glanced at matches for past Guilty Gear games, and I can tell this game's Roman Cancels were adjusted to be a lot more beginner friendly. Now I might be able to learn it lol

I like that when you are giving tips on new tech you also mention when the previous tech you mentioned comes into play with the new stuff. Really helps cement the old stuff in my brain and lets me see how it works more times in the vid.
