Splatoon 3 is a game all about defeating a variety of enemies and opponents in the ultimate quest for victory, and the game's single player story mode is no exception to this. Return of the Mammalians (Splatoon 3's single player campaign) would ordinarily require you to kill lots of enemies in order to progress and reach the final fight against Mr Grizz, but what if we took that all away? Can you still beat Splatoon 3 while keeping the peace?

Question of the Day: What do you want to see in the Side Order DLC?
  • As soon as you said “you can’t kill” I immediately thought about The first rocket section with the sniper that drops the key.

6:30 you could've just skipped that part by zip casting over the gap. it's close enough to do so and it probably would've saved you hours

In Frye’s fight the only way you damage and eventually stun Frye is by shooting her real eels back at her. I’m not talking about Frye’s situation, but the eel’s situation. They disappear when they get shot back at Frye. Sure more appear in the next phases and even near the end to help you out. My speculation is curious about if the eels count as getting “killed” or not. The fact that Frye has real and fake eels is the thing that’s getting to me. Loved the video regardless, it was quite entertaining. Seeing challenge videos with my favorite Nintendo video game makes me very happy! :)

in zip, splat, and jump, you can just jump off the side and zip to a the side of the walls with the balloons on them. it took me 2 tries lol
  • I did this back in the day with splatoon 1, trying to beat it with as few splats as possible, and i even wrote down every enemy you can spare (ive lost that note by now). I remember being able to beat all the octoling invasion levels with no kills, and i tried that again recently in splatoon 2 and got the same result, being able to run past every enemy in those stages. I havent tried in the rest of the levels on that game, but i will eventually
  • I used to do this challenge every-time on an octoling level because I was convinced that they were hypnotized with the goggles
  • @ElGing
For the splattershot and zipcaster level, you can juste zip on the ledge on the left 😅

1:22 Personally I really enjoyed those octo expansion levels where you had to match the shape on the opposing side. And every once in a while I'll replay them or the 8-ball levels.

I agree with "it's not his corpse so if you did get there in the first place, you didn't kill him", but also, when you beat Grizz his statue is replaced. It looks like Grizzco still exists, and all the employee recordings are still narrated by Mr Grizz, but someone else is controlling the company. Grizz is still alive, biding his time by becoming interstellar Bob Ross while some random Salmonid initiates their revenge or something like that

4:06 In this game, basketball rules no longer apply. If time runs out, you're a dead corpse, whether your corpse passes the finish line or not.

Technically, you could've escaped the crater because the only truly compulsory roadblocks are the fuzzy ooze. While you're meant to play every single level to get the necessary eggs to clear the next patch of ooze, you could technically just replay a level with orange egg crates over and over, and because the crater levels don't have entry fees (from what I recall) you can just do that for however long it takes to farm the required eggs for the ooze.
  • @creblu102
Can't you just grind power eggs in the crater and skip the fourth level?
  • @GamingGreen21
8:52 OBJECTION! Though Deep Cut remains alive in the instances you mentioned, that doesn't change the fact that you forced Shiver and Frye to respawn, which they only have to do once you KILL them. Are you saying you don't brand acts against these two individuals as murder because they're privileged enough to have a second chance at life?
  • @ShurikanBlade
for Zip splat jump couldnt you just have clung onto the side or bottom of the stage to get around the 6 octarians
