Sora's most iconic mannerism is putting his hands behind his head. If we saw the MoM often doing it too, then maybe I'd buy into that theory. As it is now, I'm considering MoM is hooded simply because Nomura hadn't decided on a final design back when he was introduced.
  • @3.7Khy
the master is Goofys heartless confirmed.
  • @HirokiPlays
The funny thing with this theory is that they could do whatever they want to change Sora drastically to fit this narrative, and then in the end it turns out the Master of Masters (Sora) did all this manipulation and orchestration to save his timelines'/universes' Riku and/or Kairi, and the whole fan base would be like "Oh, that makes it all ok and now it all makes sense, such deep and profound storytelling" lol

I think that I can see Sora and the MOM being connected. Sure. I personally think that they’re a parallel of one another (in a hero and villain reflecting each other kinda way) if I had to make a conclusion from the provided evidence. I’m also on that boat where I don’t really want to see Sora’s character change drastically. Grow? Yes but not become a different person all together.
  • @illusive4335
In regards to Demyx being the MoM, a YouTuber named Nanaki BH has done 2 pretty good videos on how he might be him, referencing things from FF Type-0 and noticing many parallels. It’s the theory I’m most convinced of so far, but I’m still open to anything.
  • I always see this as the most ludicrous theory because the Master of Masters does things Sora never would. It doesn't make sense for it to be so popular.

The moment I saw the Gazing Eye glitch for the first time, I knew right there Sora and the Master had to be connected. There is simply no way that glitch, which only occurs during the date battle of the one dude who actually met MoM, is any way an accident. I’m not entirely sold yet that Sora and the Master of Masters are the same person but I am 100% convinced that the two men are have a deeper connection than almost any other character in Kingdom Hearts.
  • They already told us who the Master of Masters is. The Master of Masters is Light. He told it himself to young xehanort.
  • @darkfire1408
Here's something I just thought of while watching this. There are only two beings who kept their sense of self as a heartless. Xehanort, who intentionally turned himself into one, and Sora, who turned into one by releasing his heart to save Kairi's. So what if the Master of Masters is a sentient heartless, an alternate version of Sora from the rewritten timeline? So Sora and his friends get got by the shadow storm in the Keyblade Graveyard, leaving Xehanort to succeed in his plan and eradicate the worlds, leaving behind only Darkness to start anew with the Light of Kingdom Hearts. Sora awakens as a heartless, maintaining his sense of self at the rebirth of the universe. Alongside him, the 13 darknesses emerge, entities cumulative of all the heartless left behind by the universe's eradication. Sora later takes the identity of the Master of Masters and tries to stave off the Darkness. Looking to the future to find a path, he instead finds his own past. He begins trying to orchestrate a way to change the future, and prevent the end of the universe, manipulating events behind the scenes to allow himself to rewrite fate in the future. But let's take it a step further and get real crazy. This takes several loops to work. Each time Light expires, a small fragment of Sora's heart is left behind in the realm of death as he falls to darkness. Because this realm exists outside of the normal flow of time, Sora is able to piece himself back together after hundreds of loops. (Why he had to collect so many copies of himself in KH3, and why he tends to slip into the realm of death in his dreams as part of him is always there). After reviving himself, he's able to save his other friends, and Namine is able to contact Terra's Lingering Will to alter the flow of time for his next attempt. Due to the strength of his revitalized heart, made of the countless fragments that refused to give up on his friends, and with the help of Terra, they were able to come out victorious. Much like Victorious Sora, MoM Sora is made up of hundreds of Sora's Heartless. Each time he failed, the despair and loss that filled his heart at his end survives as a heartless, and they merge together to form MoM Sora. They come into conflict post-KH3 Because MoM Sora wants to trap the 13 Darknesses in Quadratum, so they can never harm the Realm of Light again, and his friends will always be safe. Victorious Sora can't abide by this, because it's endangering countless innocents. The story moving forward has themes of mourning and loss, as well as acceptance and perseverance. It shows the different paths one can take after tragedy in stark contrast.

soras eyes can be explained by the inverse texture being glitched as its applied to the whites of his eye while young x does that time magic attack.
  • @TalysAlankil
the thing about sora's eyes during the young xehanort fight is…like, how insane do people think nomura's team is to put a hint in what looks like a glitch in every conceivable measure? kjfklsdfjsldf to me the idea of sora being the master of masters is possibly one of the worst possibilities. it would ruin the point of sora as a protagonist, being a character devoid of any inborn/destined role who still achieves great things through his ability to connect to other people. making him the fulcrum of some giant stable time loop would just ruin that completely.
  • @lekiscool
The master is trying to bring back the person who was shattered by darkness… I was like, if MoM is trying to restore someone, who would Sora be trying to bring back? The fact that I have an answer is a little unsettling. 😂 Die the hero or become the villain as it were.
  • @Atlas92936
Sora being the Master of Masters is cliche and disappointing. I believe Nomura would not do this.
  • @animecore85
Demnyx wasn't really evil. He was more of a poetic joker.
  • @_Xeto
Sora becoming the MoM kinda sounds like how Eren ended up in AoT. From a utopian to a man who sank into depression reaaaally fast.
  • @SoraWorkerDrone
I got the feeling Sora's blue eyes could secretly be the Gazing eyes Master of Masters have allowing him to see everything and know all about Sora, his friends, their powers and ability's, everyone he has interacted with and so on. There is still more we don't know about what makes Sora special and hopefully master the X~blade Xehanort gave to him. I want to see Master of Masters and Sora meet. It's all just a theory and knowing Nomura he could be planning something we not know yet for Phase II.
  • @GKLechuguilla
I can't even begin to understand why Sora has to be connected to the master. I mean, the hole appeal of our little boy is that he is just a good boy who was in the wrong place in the worst time and smiles nonetheless. Sora being tied to MoM would be the worst disappointment in the series ever
  • @Another14-
I'm jealous of those who never got into the KH story. They don't suffer the same headaches as us 🤣🤣🤣😒
  • @AmonArietis
There's even the scene with Xion pulling her Org coat down, releasing Sora's face.
  • @UnVelius
Sora being the Master could work, and if it is true I trust Nomura to write a really good explanation. But seeing how the Master is a survivor of seeing the apocalypse I'd say Sora is on some kind of revenge mission against darkness for taking away a version of Riku and Kairi that were also different than the original Riku and Kairi
