    I was a civilian employee there in 1988. I was the base glazier repairing broken windows in most of the historic buildings there. It was an honor to be a part of the history of the Presidio.
  • Thank you for the video. I retired from the US Army in 1983 while spending my last three years at the Presidio. There was speculation then that the Government was going to shut it down. Many cherished memories.
