This is so fucking cool. As someone who is rarely scared by things, I love the approach you've taken by mixing moments of safety with moments of danger and unsettling fear. The amount of unknowns and feelings of "I don't know what I did wrong" are amazing and really add to it.

my running theory about this au is that the stanley that the au follows is the reason why we get to play the game. he's the one who goes through all the endings before we do. he's kind of like a playtester, for lack of a better word. and we, as players, only get to experience certain endings that the narrator puts into the game. the title for this animation "behind the scenes" feels like it kinda supports my theory, we're seeing a behind the scenes look at the making of "the stanley parable", one that paints a darker picture of the kinds of things that don't make it into the final product that we get to watch/play. it kind of reminds me of the universe of "who framed roger rabbit" where all the cartoons actually exist in the real world and are basically actors playing a role. hmmm. that reminds me, who else is referred to as an actor in this au? oh why stanley, of course!

so cool !!! the player and stanley bit reminded me of a glitch found in the game where you can see previous you walking thru the hallways thru the same mirror in the animation…. very very neat :-)

TSP analong horror would be absolutely insane now that i think about it-

OH MY GOD KAT BLANK SCRIPTS DIGITAL HORROR ANIMATION!!!mkMRLNE im losinggg my miiinddddd this is soo soo soososo cool and i'm oh so obsessed with the atmosphere you've created in these scenes... the stanley parable was always PERFECT for horror concepts like this, the primary setting is LITERALLY a liminal office building for pete's sake!! the ending bit especially was one of my favorites, with just static shots of the office in the dark when a creepy face emerges from the shadows AUBHDKFH THAT'S SO GOOD!! it reminded me of the end of the Games ending where Stanley falls out of the map into a darker more run down version of the office without the narrator and has to navigate the dilapidated hallways back to his own office. that part of the game was always a little spooky to me, more than any other part of the game. despite me knowing that there was literally nothing in the game that could pose as a threat to me, it always felt like i wasn't completely alone, that if i turned a wrong corner i'd run into someone, something and the narrator wasn't there to help me. but i looove that ending for that reason!!! it's moments like those in the game that almost made me wish the stanley parable dipped its toes a little more into the horror of realizing you actually aren't as alone as you were lead to believe. and honestly i think this au captures that horror in a way that scratches that itch for me! from moments like stanley running into a player, finding a giant gaping wound inside the wall revealing that the building itself is a living organism, and the narrator breaking the fourth wall in the beginning to insult and shame the viewer for watching when they're not supposed to... nobody's ever truly alone in this place, it seems. not really...

Dude, this NEEDS to be made into an analog horror! It has a good enough concept to be one! And also a stanley parable analog horror just sounds like such a good idea!

This just popped on my page and now I’m going through ALLLLLL YOUR WORK RN. THIS IS SO AWESOME ESPECIALLY THE BIT AT THE END. Making an ARG off of this would be such a good idea. It’s giving DDLC vibes (very beginning of the video) and the backrooms ( very end ) but what’s awesome about your work is that it’s unique. I really hope you get inspiration from these comments to make more videos!!! These are awesome you’re so so talented!!!
