We realise Smash Bros Ultimate isn’t the friendliest of places at the best of times, but Isabelle and her pals were minding their own business when villainous villains like King K Rool and Wolf from Star Fox started acting all villainy to the cuter Nintendo characters. Doomguy / Doomslayer / Doom Guy – call him whatever you like – is not going to stand idly by and watch this injustice! He’s been resting up since the end of Doom Eternal anyway, so even if the fight is Doom Slayer vs LOADS OF OTHER FOLKS, you know he likes those odds.

I love how the Internet has just universally agreed that the doom slayer is just isabelle's stand.

I love how the amount of gore in each villain's death appears to be proportionate to whether they're from a "cartoony" franchise or not (expect Wario who just gets Goomba'd)

This animation actually gives the doomslayer a usable moveset, of course Nintendo would change some things, but I could see some of these move actually being in smash

I love that the implication here is if the villains didnt ruin the picnic then the doomslayer would have just had a regular Picnic with all the cute fighters

Bro… doom slayer and Isabelle’s friendship is hilarious. The dynamic is so funny, like Isabelle is the only one who can make fun of him without consequences, and they both always help each other, even though doom guys entire premise is that he works alone and no one tells him what to do. And also he’s incredibly hardcore, whereas Isabelle is the opposite.

For people who don't know a lot about doom: Doom guy was literally told, that he can't just shoot a hole into the surface of Mars. He literally shot a hole into the surface of Mars.

Doom guy is so powerful, he was able to change the age ratings at will.

Honestly, ignoring some of the obvious brutality, I feel like this would be a pretty cool setup for an actual reveal. Normally cute or harmless characters getting terrorized by bad guys but are saved by the new character is something that sounds like it would actually be in a smash trailer.

Doom Slayer is so badass that when he cracks his knuckles, it’s so loud that the captions identify it as applause.

I love the idea that doomguy (somehow) died, went to hell, gunned his way back up, in the span of ~15 minutes to meet up with Isabelle

i love how isabella is the only being in existence that can down right insult the doomslayer to his face infront of many other beings, and live to tell the tale.

I like how Sephiroth and Kazuya are just disappointed like "I can't believe this guy didn't show up to the picnic we just ruined on time."
