This game is a prime example of great storytelling, character, and gameplay in a sonic game.

I remember watching this years ago and thinking it was an actual movie, it blew my mind back then. It still does now. This is my favorite Sonic game.

Weird how we all showed up around the same time, but then that just means we all needed a wave of nostalgia. I was 4 when it was released. Now I'm 18 and about to graduate. Even after 13 years, the cutscenes in the game still hasn't aged and still look like a masterpiece.

i absolutely love the whole OST being centered around “Endless Possibilities” by Jared Reddick from Bowling For Soup. when it plays at the end it perfectly ends the whole adventure we all just went through. it felt like a summer movie or something, something no other sonic game has made me feel

Honestly, as a kid i always admired the opening cause it was so flashy and all But now, i still admire it, more than ever After learning about animating and how things really work, im ever more amazed on how they pulled this off

This game looks so damn good for it's time. Especially the CG opening and Dark Gaia cutscenes. They're some of the best I've ever seen from a videogame.

this game was released in 2008 and the pre rendered cutscenes look absolutely glorious, like, seriously. I would love a sega produced movie with that kind of animation and quality in it. I'd argue that sega makes some of the most baller game animations sometimes.

This is the greatest sonic story of all time. It has emotion, depth and much more. One of the reasons that unleashed is my favorite sonic game
