Highest tier requirement: Have a friend.

A little tip for Mirror Defense: If you spawn the Necramech eximus within the last 5-10 seconds of the round, its spawn animation will eat up all the time left in the round, and it'll die during the transition to the next wave without you having to do anything. The next wave will then start with 1:45 on the timer, and you can repeat this at the end of rounds 2 and 3. Then you can challenge the one on the last round normally Likely a bug, will probably get patched, but a really useful tip to shave that time off even if your squad isn't necessarily capable of defeating the mechs normally

lost me at "curated squad" we dont do that round these parts, public matchmaking or solo forever
-
My favorite part is how more than half of the equipment in Warframe isn't worth using.
-
Another tip: There are no restrictions for companions, so you are free to bring your favorite/best companion. For me, I usually run a sentinel with Duplex Bond and Verglas with Shivering Contagion. The extra crowd control really helps me with survivability and Mirror Defense. EDIT: I also run Sacrifice on the sentinel just in case. It actually saved my runs a few times.

Having a friend you can rotate bringing meta gear with to take turns carrying each other is how i beat the mirror defense last week
-
Between Deep Archimedea and Circuit, it seems necessary now to build every warframe and have the best variant of every weapon.
-
you don't understand how much I appreciate these videos and the math behind them. Thank you
-
the vampyric enemys alone are the biggest hurddle for pug groups from what ive noticed, seen them drop like flys trying to chain revive
-
Deep Archimedea sounds fun ... but I doubt I will ever be able to do it. I simply don't put enough time into Warframe to have a large arsenal and endgame builds ready to go. I don't even have Primed Surefooted yet.

When I was a wee baby Tenno, the year's anniversary alerts were running, one with a Melee Only modifier. This immediately introduced me to the variety of ways people would bypass such modifiers, if they didn't feel like not having guns: Wuclone, Xaku, gunblades, archguns, even a two-man Vauban blender. That's when I understood that Warframe at its best isn't a shooter, it's a very convoluted problem solving simulator The challenges set by Deep Archimedea take that problem solving to the next level Very informative video as always <3 shouts out to everyone's friend Tank Loki

Just returning after a couple years away, this is so cool xD great explanation
-
One thing you kind of glossed over is that archguns are not considered for the gear selection either, so if the transference restriction is in play you still have access to a fairly strong heavy hitter in case your other weapons are weak and not built out. As long as the double whammy of no operator or gear wheel items are not on there's no reason to not have a competent weapon available for at least a significant amount of each mission.

Since you can skip one parameter and still get all the rewards, I think Kullervo is extremly good in these missions. Got a shit weapon/warframe choices ? Just take Kullervo with rest of parameters, take any melee weapon from the selection and mod it for heavy attack. Big damage and good survivability in one. It kinda sucks againts some enemies (murmur boss, some flying enemies), but I had a lot of succes with this in pubs. This is my go to strategy if RNG decides to give me bad options.
-
Got home just in time for this. Heck yeah
-
Thanks for the vid! I have far better grasp in terms of their challenge and reward pools. Unfortunately, all my friends quit warframe and I just got back from rather long rest. I guess it's a time to call back mates from discord and rank up the sanctum first.
-
this would be a lot more fun if there were more weapons viable at high levels, right now it just feels like a lottery of if you're allowed to be helpful or if you'll need to be carried
-
Now that Chroma has had an augment mod added that really helps keep his Vex Armor up, I would love to see a breakdown of how his Vex Armor stacks up to other damage abilities, including the reworked Eclipse
-
7:50 Elite crew members have a trait where killing an enemy heals all nearby allies by 500 over 10 seconds, which includes the defense objective. Not a lot, but it's something. Also, these on call crew members seems to bypass some damage restriction on the enemies, I give them Kuva Zarr, and it hits those Necramechs pretty hard. If the mission didn't restrict your item wheel, they'll make your run easier.

One thing Ken neglected to mention: Your equipped Heavy Weapon (aka Archgun with gravmag) IS deployable in Deep Archimedea and AFAIK there's no variable restricting their use. very useful info to have if you got stuck with a crappy loadout
