Awesome course! Thanks for your generosity!!! The way I've been mixing for years is: 1. slapping EQ and COMP on every track, 2. Using and tweaking the presets for each instrument 3. Compressing each instrument to -3db THEN finding equal levels 4. Slapping the Multipress and a limiter on the Master which has its own monitors. Although this process has not failed me yet, I'm always down to learning more streamlined and efficient ways to do things. And what's even better - and MUCH appreciated - is that you didn't try to sell me ANOTHER G*D D*M PLUGIN!!! Ha!

Not to be too corny, on my part, but these valuable tips I can say are analogous to bus compression gluing together what I've learnt so far - in this case the mix bus is my brain 🙂 Pulling up something that was already sounding decent (to me), and after applying some (all) of your tips, just like magic - remarkable improvement, and I still have 5-6 db headroom for whatever I'm going to do next!! You're right - less is more. Thanks.
