  • Kenny, I am actually surprised that a 2003 Hyundai used fuel injectors instead of the more traditional and maybe cheaper throttle body injection system. Brother Kenny I wish I were your neighbor in order to get you to work on and repair my vehicles. You really know your stuff. Thank you for making the video and Keep Wrenching. I am praying for your back and knee problems. Hang in there.
  • @dean9498
I got of those canopys too. They're great to keep the sun or light rain off you.
  • @SeanBZA
Well, having a busman's weekend there Kenny, but your neighbour definitely likes that you moved in. Now you might get some help with the garage soon, so you can both be comfortable.
  • @MrJrnegron
Funny how I just noticed this video and I had finished a 2015 Kia soul with same issue. Everyone else performed tune up and overlooked the injectors. Easy simple fix.

I bought an oil cooler for my Ram 3.6L from Amazon (China part) for $107 and learned the hard way. Caused so many leaking issues and the sensors were no good… The Dorman $200 part was much better quality build and seals.

That is called waste spark, when the one plug fires on the exhaust stroke with another on the firing stroke. Saves needing 2 extra coils, and a transition between a distributor and a single coil per plug system. The canopy is great, just make sure to fold down every time, because they, despite the hold down pegs and ropes, do like to go off and fly away. Did stop one once, though it needed 4 of us and a screwdriver, the screwdriver to hold it sort of together, because the one middle arm snapped under the strain of the sudden wind and rain storm. It did not survive.

There's always someone willing to make a cheaper, low-quality part. But the opposite is also true: Someone will raise the price and tell you it's a higher quality. You don't get what you pay for -- you get AT MOST what you pay for.
  • Wear and tear. Just replace them all. Keep the fuel equal in all cylinders.
  • Harley Davison used dual fire since 1927, it went away when they put fuel injection on their bikes. There is zero reason to use it anymore on any engine except cutting corners and cheaping out. Extra wear on spark plugs as well.
  • You're absolutely correct. BUT - we're dealing w old used cars. N if the problem presents itself again, it'll kinda be obvious what it is. That's my philosophy on why I don't mind buying the cheaper (probably way less quality) parts.
  • @MrJet30
I been watching you for a few months now and decided you earned my sub and like.. Cheers keep up the good work.
  • @jthonn
Good job once again. I understand how it all works, it's amazing if you think about it. It use to be all manual, carburetors and distributors, now a computer tells it when to fire, inject fuel and such and keeps doing it at whatever speed or RPMs. It obviously does it well, just fascinating, lack of a better word. Keep wrenching

Kenny please get your back checked out if you haven't already! Once you hurt your back it stays with you from that time on and will continue to get worse without proper care! Praying for you and your family! God bless y'all!!
  • My dad learned the "don't buy the cheapest" theory with a set of tires for less then $150. Within 6 months 2 had tread separation which wrecked the tie rods!
  • @alext8828
These are all great videos. I didn't think I was gonna like 'em this much. I'm on a binge. I'll burn myself out. Hope all is good...or getting better.
  • @simike24
I worked for Hyundai from 86 to late 90. Those injectors may be the same as Dodge colt injectors.
  • @bobby9195
Hello again Mr Kenny hope y'all get to feeling better 😊
