Just watched the short; it's beautiful, and the movie needs making.

Richard was always so fun on Howard Stern, especially those 80s and 90s shows

I’m down for it, the short film was actually pretty good and I’d deff watch a bio if Pauley did it, I think Simmons actually changed his mind and gave his blessing after the short film

If Pauly takes himself seriously. Why not? In all seriousness, Howard described Richard perfectly.

I saw the 10 minutes on YouTube. The story was ok and Pauly has a bit of a similar look but I didn’t see any of that heart sparkle of Richard. Back in the early days of his TV show he was at his very best. Entertaining but also he often showed his true heart and love of those struggling. Years later he became more of a jester so to speak and seemed to lose that special heart connection. I hope Richard is doing well and enjoying his life. He was one of a kind. (In a beautiful way)

I would probably go to a theatre for the first time in a decade just to watch this movie.

Richard always made me laugh and he’s done great things for people. I remember hearing that he would take calls from just “regular” people he met throughout the years. I hope he’s able to feel the love before it’s too late. Him and Letterman were always great together too
