HKDC took the stage in our high school assembly and performed Pentagon’s Shine and BTS X Halsey’s Boy with Luv! Despite the chaos of AP testing, we were able to pull together a performance for our school’s final assembly of the year. With only two weeks to organize and rehearse, students spent their lunches, tutorials, after-school time, and weekends preparing for this performance. Special shoutout to all our graduating seniors (Aidan, Alisa, Anna, Claire, Darya, Frances, Giulia, Mathias, Mya, and Sam) for giving it their all in their last performance with HKDC.     High school crowds are usually hard to keep entertained, especially when some can't appreciate kpop. "Shine" is a hard dance to keep people engaged with if they're not into kpop. Even with that said, you guys did such a great job keeping your audienced engaged while performing both songs. I can tell you guys were really comfortable in your performances--which suggests you guys practiced a lot, makes it less awkward. And adding your little own moves, like moving your legs a little more during a solo part, or doing the flips suddenly made the song/dance your own. It was unique and I loved it. 💖 I am so impressed right now, and that deserves a subscriber.
