I love when black actresses who have long been legendary to us finally get their accolades! Can’t wait to see this :)
  • It's not just the clothes, but the person who's wearing them 👀. I love how he said with all due respect, you is foine Ms. Sheryl Lee Ralph!

My first remembrance of SLR is from the tv show “It’s A Living”

I have the utmost respect for Ms. Ralph, and all of the dues she’s paid to get where she is today. She deserves her flowers, full stop. That said, I am disappointed to learn that she and her three co-stars scabbed in the middle of the strike. They are all old enough to understand the significance of unions and labor rights in the entertainment industry. I am especially disheartened by Susan Sarandon’s part in this scabbing. She came to Madison, Wisconsin in 2011 and gave a speech during the Act 10 protests about the importance of unions and workers’ rights. She is well-known for her very left-leaning stances and participation in activist rallies. So Susan, of all people, should have known better.
  • Humbly stated: Please Gayle let those being interviewed answer without always making it about you. It is good to see what SLR has accomplished and be awarded for her gifts and be blessed with a beautiful family.
