the ironic part about the comparison to Van Gough is that he spent his entire life being told he wasn't good enough and only actually sold one painting, he died before getting any recognition on his art.

I think the “tree/branch thought” is actually quit accurate. The way I think it as is when you make it past that branch you keep boing until you hit another, but when you finally get to the bottom of the tree. The fall is less hard. But if you face no branches at all the fall is really hard. Meaning that you never really experienced life, along with it’s problems.

I’m always like “oh wow I wanna do this because it’s hard!” Then when I do it.. “well that wasn’t hard…there other harder things to do…I suck” I never really thought that I was pushing myself and this help me think of what I’m doing so…thanks Jaiden!
