I can't believe Jason Bateman did nothing but comedy for the early majority of his career. His range in dramatic roles is unreal. He's one of the best actors I've ever seen to portray that deep internal sadness, specifically. He can have a neutral face expression, yet you can tell he's falling apart on the inside. That to me, is even more impressive than normal sobbing.
