It was an embarrassing defeat for the Pumas against a French team without its best players, who were finalists in the French championship (Toulouse and Bordeaux). A lot of young players with no caps and who could still play in this year's U20 World Cup. This confirms France's reservoir of young talent, with three-time U20 World Champions.

This is embarassing, to say the least. Nothing to take away from the french players, they are absolute class and full of talent, but this is their 3rd team, full of uncapped players or capped players with single digit caps. France´s first team would have give these Pumas the hiding of their life.

What the heck Argentina?! This was supposed to be a weekend of clean sweeps by all of the major southern hemisphere teams over the major northern hemisphere teams. C'mon Pumas, you're letting your southern hemisphere cousins down.

I don’t understand why you don’t get carded for very cynical foul play, it shouldn’t matter if the opposition still manages to score or not. Not a fan of more cards in the game but you shouldn’t cheat and have no repercussions!
