Proud of her she's an amazing human being❤️

Asna Tabassum showed so much grace and elegance; and her fellow students showered her with their support and love. What else does she need? USC and the cohorts against freedom of speech and their pro genocidal support lost.

Young generation are more conscientious than older generation.

Shame on USC President! Weak at best and absolutely not a leadership moment.
  • Let me tell a joke. "Democracy". Another joke. "Human rights". "Free Speech".
  • @azulblue3802
...And that is how USC treats their highest-performing students of a graduating class. Pay the fees but we will block your speech if you dare to talk about human rights of the "wrong" group of people. FP🍉🍉🍉
  • Shame on USC administrators. Whoever made the decision to silence that young woman should hide in shame for the rest of their lives
  • @mikehurracan691
Shame on USC for cancelling her speech. I wish Asma the best in her future
  • If she speaks against transgender and abortion, they would let her speak, right??? The point here is NO POLITICAL STAND in that ceremony!!! And it goes all directions.
  • @2BEorNOT2B3
Irony , I thought it is the Taliban that don’t allow women to speak ? What happened here ?
  • A minor in what??????? These kids are an absolute joke and shame!!!!
  • Congratulations! She is a deserving Valedictorian and her academic honors are impressive. Her kindness and character in the face of unjust defamation and slander is even more impressive. Her courage to stand up against genocide and injustice…is the most impressive. You may silence her today….but not tomorrow.

Universities are done as a place of higher learning.
  • @saukchung8939
I mean, if the ceremony was cancelled, then how can the speech take place

While international law protects free speech, there are instances where speech can legitimately restricted under the same law – such as when it violates the rights of others, or, advocates hatred and incites discrimination or violence.
