I actually think it was rocks not Whitebeard who gloriossa fell in love with. Only cause it be nice to change it where not all the empresses seem to fall in love with ,not just, strong or impressionable men. They all appear to be “good” people. So it be interesting if she fell in love with rocks himself. Also Gloriossa said already Bao is cured of her sickness due to the fact she agreed to leave with Luffy to impel down. So the fact she or any empresses could interact or hang out with them I think is the “cure”. Not so much as live with them.

Even though Oda did say Luffy's mom doesn't matter, I feel like it has to have some relevance to Dragon's backstory. In fact, Luffy's mom not mattering to Luffy would definitely make sense since Luffy doesn't even seem to care about Dragon, but as a fan I think it'd be cool to see her in the manga/anime interacting with Dragon or something

I think Hanafuda was collecting Ancient Zoans and SELLING them to Kaido. I also, with no proof, believe he is the holder of the Ancient Zoan Model T-Rex fruit, as he is the "King of Lizards."

I doubt it was Whitebeard that Gloriosa was in love with. She showed zero reaction to his death and was basically like “whatever” when she was discussing to Luffy about the upcoming war. I’m almost certain the man she fell for was Rocks. Her bickering with Stussy only indicated that Gloriosa was also being a simp for someone she loved but it wasn’t exactly anything that hinted at it being Whitebeard. Gloriosa made fun of Stussy for being so clingy and Stussy called her out for being the same. I’m pretty sure she fell in love with Rocks and then he died so she grieved and went back home. She looks back on her memories of love very fondly so clearly it wasn’t a falling out, something happened to where she had to go back home. Whitebeard was still alive but she didn’t try going after him or anything and like I said she showed no reaction to his death other than “huh that’s unfortunate”. Also Toritoma being Luffy’s mom doesn’t make sense since she died due to the sickness. This is caused by you never finding love or having it. Boa is still fine even though Luffy isn’t around and Gloriosa is still alive so clearly finding the one you love is all that matters to prevent the sickness. Odds are she caught the sickness and because she never left the island she died. If she was Luffy’s mom she wouldn’t have died since not only did she find her love but she had a CHILD…physical PROOF of her love. It wouldn’t make sense for her to die of it if she was Luffy’s mom
