Hey everyone! So I finally dove into the mod you've been asking me to do for a while now and it's been such a fun process learning all of the cute little mechanics these bees have.

If you enjoyed the video be sure to leave a "like" on it/subscribe if you haven't already and I'll see you in the next one.

The luminous glass is a beautiful addition for bee enclosures while not having any lines but I tend to prefer the ender io lighted glass despite the lines. The ender glass has many colors to outline them with.

if you set up villagers with advanced bee hives as their trading block.... they become beekeepers and will sell you lots of useful stuff ... including a trade of sturdy bee cages for the ones you can craft that are one use only ... this allows you to stock up on the cages that you can use over and over ... also, they can sell you one of 5 different bee spawn eggs including eggs for the quarry bees and lumber bees as well as hoarder bees and dye bees ... super useful to be able to buy spawn eggs for these and get them set up easily that way.

You can remove the book from the Eccentric Tome by selecting that book in your Tome you want to get rid of and then hit Shift + Q to eject the book from the Tome.

Getting down to beesness! Sorry, not sorry. If you get a honeytreat on a stick and a saddle, and you come across a bumblebee, you can ride it like a pig. They spawn in plains-based biomes. So cute, if fairly useless otherwise xD Productive Bees is probably not the most efficient resource mod, but it sure is the cutest.

Hey Creo, I'm pretty sure the difference between the cages is that the normal ones are single use while the sturdy ones can be reused. Instead of setting up a farm for the honeycombs/bottles you can also put the vanilla bees into the advanced beehives. Those will automatically collect the honeycombs or bottles if they are inserted. Btw one small thing I don't think vanilla beehives have to be attached to a log, so you could place a row on the outside the room
  • Yes more wonderful amazing creo to watch and listen to when feeling down and low defo cheers me up makes me sooo much better love ur videos keep up the wonderful work u do ❤❤

advanced beehives are great for normal honey bees since they give you both honeycomb and honey bottles at the same time and dont require campfires to calm the bees

Just when I thought I could keep up. You’re a machine!

One thing I’ve found useful is to put the hives directly over the campfires. That way you don’t need the carpets…

Sorry I missed the stream! I caught like one MINUTE of it during my lunch break. Something wrong with my Firefox YouTube enhancer extension. It's borked the youtube chat for me. I had to chat through Chrome last time lol It took me a few days to get through all the bees. They're really great when they're all running. The biggest and best tip I have for productive bees are honey seeds from mystical agriculture. You can already see just how much honey this mod needs. Its much faster to make honey essence (with speedy botany hoppers) than actual honey. I was going to suggest Easy Villagers, I'm glad you found it! I got an auto-trader and have it auto-exporting emeralds to it. It has 4 stacks of honey treats at all times, basically :D Time in a bottle also works on the hives to cut down the cooldown, but use it sparingly as it'll be easy to just spam it. The simulation upgrade makes it so that the bees don't leave the hive anymore. Try and go for it if you can! Some bees only work in the day (see the bee's attributes when you mouseover). To speed this process up, I suggest either the sleep charm, or the ritural from Ars that speeds up night and makes it day. You can change the bee's attributes to make it work day and night by attaching it to a lead and leaving it outside for a few nights. So cruel, but funny at the same time! I can't wait until you get into bee genetics and squishing bees with a piston! So much fun!

Now that you are going down the Product Bee's path, there is another way to get Dragon Teeth. Once you work your way up to the Wanna Bee and Amber Bee, you can encase the End Dragon in Amber and then have the Wanna Bee farm him and you will get Dragon Heads, Teeth and Chops. The Wanna Bee is like the Drygmys and can also farm the Treasure Goblin and other mobs that have been encased in amber. It is a pretty long path to get these bees but once you do, you will be set!

haha didnt know the stick trick =) I use to stand waiting for them haha. thanks =)
  • Three of the normal hives you have in the first enclosure aren’t going to produce anything. You have the bees access blocked by having the front of the hive against the glass. Also, one of those same hives doesn’t have a campfire under it (the one against the left wall as you’re walking in).

Sturdy bee cages can be used over and over vs bee cages which are single use only

When I upgraded my first fully-enchanted bow to supremium, it stopped doing any damage to mobs. I could shoot just fine, it just didn’t have any effect. When I made a new bow without mending or unbreaking, it worked fine and I’m still using it. It seems like some mods that remove durability as a thing cause conflicts. My diamond sword and armor also had unbreaking and mending, but worked fine. No idea as to why…

Productive bees has me intimidated. Between mystical ag and hostile neural networks, I’m hoping I can get by without. Probably not.
