Steak and Ale was my favorite from all the older restaurants; I can honestly say I never had a bad meal there. Not exactly a dinner jacket experience, it nonetheless had superb food.

The Rusty Scupper in Baltimore only closed for renovations. It is still going strong in Baltimore today.

Bennigan's wasn't actually fancy it was a mid priced quick service type restaurant similar to Uno Chicago Bar and Grill once when my parents younger brother and I were eating there in the late 90s there was a car fire in the Parking lot

There was a Magic Pan restaurant at my local mall when I was growing up. My French class went there on a “field trip” when I was in high school. Years later I had my bridesmaid’s luncheon there. It was a special place.

Washington, Indiana still has a Ponderosa. It was my mom's favorite until she died in 2020. Its a three hour trip for me, but I try to get there on the anniversary of her passing.
