JD Vance voted against pay raises for US troops, against funding for the VA, and against expanding home care for Veterans. And then there's all the things Walz did FOR veterans....

Corporal Couch and Captain Bonespurs really shouldn't be attacking anyone's service record.

My husband was in the service for about 8 years, served in Korea during the Korean conflict [as it was called back then], turned 21 in Vietnam [ which they came home to to absolutely vindictive people]. He would NEVER put anyone who served in any military branch down. He had too much respect for every military personnel that served their country.

To be honest, and as an Australian, I think everybody in the western world is exhausted by Trump and his cohorts.

The only reason why "military service" ever became an issue is when DJT made the comment about John McCain "“He’s not a war hero,” said Trump. “He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.” At this point everyone laughed and looked at military services careers differently instead of condemning DJT! This is one point among many this man should have been discarded and rejected by Americans as he who NEVER served his Country should have never disrespected John McCain, a prisoner of war in our United States Armed Forces! He disrespected every service member in that moment and Americans laughed! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Atta boy Pete. As a 20 year retired vet myself I wholeheartedly agree with you. There are many reasons why people serve in the military and so many choices as to how they serve. I respect them all.

As a 9 year Army vet, it's so damn disrespectful to trash talk another Vets honorable service. The fact they are attacking his service record says more about them than Tim Walz. You serve, you're in the 1%. You make it to Command Sergeant Major, you're in the 1% of that 1%.

Vance is proving once again that the right can dish it out but they can’t take it.

I love Pete so much. I am so excited to vote for Kamala and Tim. I’m so sick of the weirdos who have nothing but lame personal attacks based on total falsehoods. We’ve got this, America. My Army combat veteran and I met John Kerry in 2004 when he was running for POTUS. He and my husband both served honorably in the Vietnam conflict and spent a good 15 or 20 minutes talking about their experiences, after which Kerry gave my husband an autographed copy of his DVD, Going Upriver. He was strong and gracious. We were absolutely gutted when his service and valor were attacked! He was perfectly situated to avoid the draft due to his status financially and in college etc. HE VOLUNTEERED to go! So needless to say, seeing Trump/Vance attack Tim Walz brings a little PTSD from that campaign to us now! WE CANNOT WAIT TO VOTE HARRIS/WALZ 2024! VOTE BLUE! 🗳 ☑ 🗳 ☑ 💙 💙 💙

I'm SOO GLAD that Pete is ALWAYS defend the TRUTH and the "good guys"!!! He does it with INTEGRITY, HONESTY and CLASS!! I kinda understand WHY they didn't pick him for VP, NOT because he's not qualified or capable, but, he's done and continues to do a FANTASTIC JOB in his role.. I WHOLE HEARTILY BELIEVE he WILL be PRESIDENT one day, and definitely sooner than later and I'm my lifetime!!! He's been underestimated for SO long and TIME AFTER TIME he ABSOLUTELY PROCESS THEM WRONG!! Trump keeps saying such HORRIBLE things is because he TRULY believes what he says, he feels like he doesn't have to hide and play nice anymore, and it gives him the ATTENTION that he CRAVES!! It's INFURIATING to watch the National Media giving him what he wants, the attention, BUT,a VERY tame version. They DON'T show ALL the HORRIFIC and SCARY things he says, or they kinda bring it up, then brush it off and change the subject to Biden. It was SOO disappointing and disgusting that when it was bright up by ABC on the show "this week with George.."asked a Rep. from New Hampshire, who LAUGHED and brushed it off as Trump being Trump. Martha I think was the one filling in for George, took that answer and didn't push back or even talk about it anymore, and then went to talking about Biden!!! I understand they should be unbiased, BUT, they're FAILING MISERABLY!! They NEED TO be FACT CHECKING LIVE, and push back when Trump DOESN'T ANSWER simple questions, or spits out LIES. A PERFECT EXAMPLE was Trump's press conference he just did, he LIED ALOT and not little lies, they were HUGE LIES, and NO ONE SAID ANYTHING to HIM. He DIDN'T ANSWER ONE question. He's go on lie filled rants and avoided answering ANY questions and the MEDIA DIDN'T DO or SAY ANYTHING!! National media is losing viewers, and the majority of people they're losing are their generational viewers, like me.. I'm looking at other ways to find my news!! SHAME ON ABC,CBS,NBC..

As a gay man, may I just say that Mayor Pete's integrity and high moral compass made him a real contender for VP selection. As a gay senior citizen, I never expected to see an openly gay man in in the running for Veep in my lifetime. Hell, now anything is possible - even under the current maiaise era of the USA. (who'd a thunk it?) Thank you Pete! You're one of the good guys.

I am a veteran myself and it is disgraceful for one veteran to talk about any service member in degrading ways. All service members should be held in high esteem. Shame on Vance! He's just digging the hole deeper and deeper isn't he?
