How does youtube recommendation knows that I wear glasses?
  • @profusnea
People who have perfect eyesight don't know the pain of going to see a 3-D movie at the theatres when you have glasses
  • @Xavierpng
She did a great job explaining what she went through, good for her!!

In case anyone is curious I had this procedure done 23 years ago and my vision is still better than 20/20 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

“It felt like someone shaved my eyes” alright imma head out 🏃🏻‍♀️

Lasik not only improved my vision, it improved my quality of life. Up until my surgery, I dealt with almost daily headaches behind my eyes. My mom was so freaked out by it she had an MRI done on me to make sure there wasn’t something wrong with my brain. After Lasik, NO MORE HEADACHES. My guess is my eyes were under constant strain since my vision sucked so bad, and then factor in the discomfort of contacts too. A month after the surgery, my mom actually cried when I told her I hadn’t had a single headache since.

I had lasik eye surgery last July at age 19 and I could see perfectly the next morning. I honestly didn’t feel anything during the procedure. It’s the best thing I’ve ever paid for.

“It felt like someone shaved my eyes” yes. Because they did
  • @impalaguy22
When she said her pain was an 11... that deterred me to have this done

I know a ton of people are scared to get this surgery, but this was the easiest surgery I've ever had done. It was finished in 5 minutes, I saw a red light and felt absolutely nothing. 10/10 I recommend it to everyone who needs it.

had LASEK and it hurts for like 4 days (equivalent to someone stinging one thousand needles in your eyes when you try to sleep but you get used to it on the third day). But after they take out the protective lense, it's like seeing a new word. truly grateful for this technology

My mom has been legally blind her entire life and got this surgery. It was really cool to see my mom go from almost a cm thick glasses to being able to see better than everyone.
  • y’all my teacher had to wear those glasses and everyone called her Harley Davidson for a week 💀
  • Thanks Michelle! Your video has helped me to feel less anxiety about getting eye surgery. I understand now that it isn't always easy afterwards but I shouldn't panic if full recovery takes some time. Some people seem to recover more quickly than others. Thanks Tech insider.
  • @thumbsup23
wow thank you , hope lots of people share their experiences, feelings and results , detailed day by day hour by hour, really apreaciate what you did ❤️
  • I need this, but my Anxiety will kill me before I enter the place.
  • @Dajaxon
15 minutes, it's crazy that that's all it takes for having perfect vision for the rest of your life
  • @clettisklump
I appreciate the commentary and a play-by-play. I have been going back-and-forth for the last few months thinking about both procedures. My biggest concern is trying to sit still when someone is actually digging in my eye I'm not sure if verset is the drug for me I'm gonna need some kind of paralytic agent to take me through what might be the most excruciating 15 minutes of my life.
  • Many thanks for sharing your experience! I had LASEK two weeks ago and your video is helping me patiently wait for the results to come through. 😊
