Beautiful work, and no smoke! Most two-strokes I've found that old are a mess, but you made it right. I was worried when I saw you painting the spokes (I assumed you were keeping the old ones!) I wish I knew as much as you do when I was your age, I could have saved a few mopeds when I was young. I have never seen someone restore brake shoes like that, and I'm thankful to have learned here (what did you use for the braking material?) FWIW, I was taught to never use the impact hammer unless the target was against something unmovable (like anvil-solid) otherwise the slack risks stripping the drive head. I'm guessing you had a new timing belt, but considering your ingenuity I wouldn't be surprised if you made that one yourself. In all I hope you're proud to ride it -- I would honored to ride your restoration.

Worked on a few of these, many identical versions with different names. Despite all the rust etc this one appears to have covered very little distance at all. Very basic transport compared with today's mopeds . I am now into my 80S but remember how often they came into the workshop with niggling faults.

Dolezite je aby fungovala aj druha automaticka rychlost pre babetu . Spojka je dolezita v motore. Moja babeta ide 55 km/h. Mam babetu 215 a babetu 207/356 . Spotreba 1,5l/100km. A dolezite je vycistit nadrz znútra dokonale.
