I feel like Shaq put Jaren in an awkward position by making him take a side against guys he plays against. He’s just got to let this MVP thing go.

Shaq is a big big man with a larger chip while being incredibly self centered and petty. His comments just prove shooting free throws isn’t the biggest difference between he and Jokic… that would be class. He got none.

So "baddest mf in the NBA" is kind of completely an arbitrary eye-test metric so I decided to look at the facts. Jokic has the most winshares in the NBA (MVP is basically a winshare award) which means out of any player, he adds the most wins to his team. Shai has 14.6, Jokic has 17. He also has more winshares/48 meaning he wins more with the same amount of minutes. He has the highest BPM meaning he creates the largest point differential in the NBA. (both causing less points to go in for the other team while contributing more points to his team compared to Shai.) Season wise, Nuggets fell off pretty hard from last year and he's somewhat the sole reason they even tied for first place in western conference standings, wherein Thunder got massively better compared to last season.

Jokic should have had 4 MVPs, Shaq. Just make SGA your own little award to give to him. Sheesh
