"You don't see it very often, thousands of people stopped in their tracks to look up at the stars."

Wow this is a very emotional, heart warming phenomenon. I saw dozens of people crying unabashedly and couples hugging and kissing. Very romantic.
  • Today I saw my first ever total solar eclipse right in my backyard in Ohio... I cried when I saw the beauty of the moon passing in front of the sun. It was the most beautiful thing that I had ever seen in my entire life, like it had came from a dream.
  • We saw the eclipse today from Indiana. The slow fade of sunlight and colors altered as the moon aligned with the sun until we entered the zone of totality. It's tempting to say it reinforced a feeling of our insignificance in the universe but it was the complete opposite. Instead It bolstered our sense of belonging to a magnificent world, full of wonder and joy, where for a brief moment in time we felt a connection with the grand and glorious within and beyond ourselves. What an experience!

Saw totality here in Montreal it was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen and will never forget for the rest of my life. It went dark with a sunset eveywhere, and I could look right at the dim glowing halo it was just incredible
  • I was in Ohio! It was legit life changing!! I feel so blessed to have witnessed it! It was so beautiful
  • Saw it for the first time today in New York and I... don't really have any words to describe it. I've seen photos and videos, knew what to expect, yet still got blown away by the beauty of it all. Ended up sobbing through all 3 minutes of totality but the trip was so worth it. Best thing a human can ever see

I saw it in TX, few clouds, but still a wonderful experience. I saw it with my mom, it may be the last time to do something with her.

Looked unreal in Indiana. Not a cloud in the sky and people went wild when the street lights began to come on and that White Halo appeared around the moon.

It was a stunning performance in the heavens, but watching this video...what a beautiful sight on earth...all these people smiling, happy, looking to the sky...this was a beautiful sight too❤
