TOP 10 Problems with the DJI Air 3

Polar Pro has Air 3 ND Filters that are dual glass. So each camera gets a slightly different amount of ND filter. They work great and match up both cameras perfectly!

What was the wind speed when you were flying sideways, was the wind speed very fast?

Appreciate your opinion on the DJI Air3 great points…. But knowing DJI it’s about getting tech out quickly to get sales… now I still think the Air3 isa great Drone sits right in the middle off mini & Mavic series. I also believe the Air3 camera technology (stacked sensors) is an upgrade to the Air2S which I’ve owned. Plus that O4 is out of this world All in all should be a fun drone to own!

Hi, great comments. However, the light gathering ability of a camera is defined by the f-ratio, not the sensor size. The smaller the f-ratio, the greater the light gathering. The Air 3 has a more efficient sensor than the Air 2. The quantum efficiency (QE) of most any size CMOS sensor is similar, therefore it's the f-ratio that rules for low light.

Personally love my air 3. It's my first pro drone as a photographer, so i can't compare to the previous ones. I think the price point is great if I don't want to spend Mavic money, but need something better than a mini series. I think the large weight makes it more stable. According to the manual, it can handle 12 m/s winds, which is 23 kts. However, I was getting strong wind warnings at 16 kts. But video was still good.

I'm keeping my Air 2S and Autel EVO 2 Pro for now - wake me up when the ir 4 comes around - great video - thanks for sharing this.

Would it be possible for you to check what frame rates are available in Slow Motion? And what is the frame rate of a video file it saves on SD card? in central Europe (SK) the FLY More COMBO is also sold with a battery box, also without a charger... but what annoys me the most is that it uses a 12MPx photo on the panoSphere, even though I have it set to 48MPx... and it can't raise the camera enough. ..

I have a Mini 4 Pro but, I still LOVE flying my Air 2S mostly for it's stability in flight and the camera is excellent. I'm holding off buying the Air 3 in case and of course they will come out with the Air 3S or Air 4 in the next 8 to 12 months. Hopefully they will incorporate some of your suggestions.

Sold my mini 1 in februari and ordered this drone yesterday cant wait to test it , to finally be able to get filés i can work more with and color grade but i do wish it had a lens that is not stuck at 1.7.. little shocked that is almost as big as the mavic cause i loved the size of the mini

I appreciate these comments and 100% agree the not including a battery charger....or at least making making sure customers know they will need one is inexcusable. They should put in their advertising in BOLD PRINT: "You will need to buy a separate charger to use this product - when you buy a "Fly More Combo" you will get a coupon for 25% off the DJI 100watt charger"! The rest of the issues in the video I can live with and do think this drone is a great value overall. Also the Air 2 does NOT take higher quality video than the Air 3 - the Air 3 has a more efficient sensor.

Good points. Just sold my Skydio 2+ and received a new Air 3. Please use your Jet-eye powers and ask DJI to update the Air 3 to show a "shadow" when landing. I sure miss that feature. Its helpful when its necessary to have a pin point landing spot.

I have yet to get the Live Stream to work on this drone.. After over 25 emails to DJI its still not working. Had No issues with my old Mavic air 2. Not happy with my new purchase so far.

Most of the issues you talked about could easily be solved by either downgrading to the Mini series of drones or upgrading to the Mavic 3 family, the air series is exactly what it is, a middle ground, you want more storage and a better camera, get a Mavic 3 you want something smaller ? Get an air 2s or something in the mini series. For what it costs and it’s capabilities the air 3 is an EXTREMELY good drone

Just wanted to know if the regular RC controllers that come with the Air 3, those it have Occusync 4 too

does anybody else have the problem of the 720p resolutions only in RTMP settings? Why there's not 1080p ? I can't get fluid video at all.
