Breaking bad is one of the best shows I've ever seen. Better call Saul is the best show I've ever seen.

This should have hundreds of thousands of views

And not a single main Emmy Award for BCS, that is criminal.
  • @rvt2239
What I like about BCS is that it has it's own "feel." It doesn't try to recreate the same atmosphere or tone as BB. It has its own clear DNA despite having many of the same characters and the same setting. Even if you had never seen BB, you could still enjoy BCS which is pretty rare for a prequel.

Critically acclaimed or not, we can’t deny that Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad are goldmine for memes.

You see, Better call Saul got me so bad I forgot it was breaking bad too
  • better call sauls interesting because it really does have an incredibly hard to sell premise, so the writers have to work so much harder to make it interesting while breaking bads premise from the get go is already fascinating

I didn't realize this was a small channel until i read the view count. This has awesome quality, this channel should go far
  • I love the choice of music. Claire de lune and Gymnopédie No. 1 are my favorite piano works ever

I've watched both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul multiple times, and have to say, for me, Better Call Saul is better. The cinematography, the script the everything is just art. From the little details such as Nacho's clothes being predominately red, Kim's, Hamlin's and Chuck's being blue, representing their personalities. Kim's color slowly changing by the end of the show too. It's all very thought out and great.
  • I watched BCS first, and adored it. I've never streamed a series so quickly. Everything about it was calculated on every level, and that's what made it, for me, such a compelling watch. I followed up with BB, and while I enjoyed it, I did have to recalibrate my expectations and adjust to the slightly less mature screenwriting and cinematography. I would love to know what my assessment might have been watching them the other way around.

Breaking bad spinoff kind of reminds me of the parallel with the Simpsons and Futurama.
  • TLDR: better call Saul is good because it’s good and that’s what makes it good

Absolutely fantastic piece, The.. Everything. Spot on, thorough, respectful. Love the use of Satie & Debussy. The part about the use of camera actually made me cry. Endless love and respect for all things BCS, and BB/BCS forever. Nothing compares.

we do have characters with uncertain fates in better call saul, because we have characters that don't appear in breaking bad
  • @kathulhurises
the scenes synched to Gymnopédie no 1 are soothing my soul. Thank you <3

" - What a sick joke. - But not our Emmy! Couldn’t be precious Emmys!! - We should’ve nominated it when we had the chance!!! - He defecated through a sunroof! (...) - Snubbing them blind! - You think this is bad? This chicanery? They gave Game of Thrones an Emmy through a sun roof. (...) (...) (...) (...) - You think Succession and Game of Thrones just happened to win everything like that?? No! The network orchestrated it! HBO! - Jimmy: You know why I didn't take the Emmy? 'Cause it's too small! I don't care about it. It's nothing to me! It's a bacterium! I travel in worlds you can't even imagine! YOU CAN'T CONCIEVE OF WHAT I'M CAPABLE OF! I'm so far beyong you! I'm like a God in human clothing. LIGHTING BOLTS SHOOT FROM MY FINGERTIPS!" ~ various users from the r/bettercallsaul reddit honestly, i'm currently on chapter 610 (i watched all of BB) and YEAH it really deserved to get an emmy awesome video by the way, very lovely (just like BCS)

It's been 5 years since I watched Breaking Bad, and I too was planning a rewatch very very soon, but since Better Call Saul is still so fresh in my memory I'll try and wait around 5 more years so I can rediscover both shows again.
  • I've watched breaking bad in its entirety 8 times so far, its the perfect show to rewatch because its so saturated with details. Every time you rewatch it you figure out something new, a new motive, the reasoning behind a specific action or just smaller details that hint at the future plot. But I have yet to rewatch better call Saul, its an almost perfect drama but its slow paced nature makes it very difficult to rewatch compared to breaking bad. I wouldn't consider either of them better than one another, they're perfect examples of completely different genres.

The Made in Abyss OST in the background at 11:36 caught me off guard.
