That box connected to the alternator in that dodge p/u is one of the first 12V/110 inverters. I had one in my p/u in 1968 and we ran lights, skill saws, and other 110 stuff to work after dark. I found a brand NOS in my junk the other day!
-
I'm so glad you hopped over to youtube and kept the good stuff coming
-
My 1st car (in '91) was a '78 Magnum with a 360 in it. Same colors as the one you got. Got it from my grandmother who bought it new in '78. Damn thing would light the tires up quick.

some nice projects there Mike but to find a serious buyer with the cash and not just a dream might be hard to find
-
crazy to not be restoring that Charger right now, they are HOT and yet your doin that other car now instead! you gonna drive this one or save it for the next guy lol!!!
-
I remember buying 68's for 800 dollars! Those were the days!
-
Let me assure you that unless you have a numbers matching highly optioned car and the vast majority aren't. Even today the fully loaded 700 hp Chargers etc are limited edition. For every one of those they built two hundred automatic six cyl. Even the V8 manuel is an expensive option. The chances of getting your money back out of a build is slim to none, unless like I said numbers matching high option.
-
dreamer on those prices but i respect the hussle
-
I'll take the charger

Bad time to sell. These all should have sold 10+ years ago when the market was burning hot and stupid prices for full resto needed cars. The 30-40 year olds who had money have moved on to newer cars or have bought their dream car already. A 20+ something aint ever gonna buy a resto needed car too many nice newer cheaper faster cars out there. Good luck. I hope the show comes back

-
Mike the rally dash should go with the charger.the rt should have a 1-15 SPEEDO
-
The old Dodge truck was probably an Air Force truck. We had them at the remote radar base I served at.
-
Well I understand inflation but rough like that running and driving is 17,000—30000.USD. No big block no four speed no tripac. You're upside down right now without anymore spent. Good to dream I suppose. If you give the charger a general lee paint job then you can get fifty out of it if you find a 500 cu engine.
