@ClassicRockfan79 No doubt, lots of Appalachian music all around my stomping ground here. i grew up with my great-grandfather (who i was close with) constantly playing banjo/mandolin/guitar... He was my inspiration to start playing music myself./ I agree that you can feel/hear the soul of the mountains in the music!

Something about the way the melody and phrasing melts away all the troubles and makes me want to dance, write and sing. This is a great band, I suggest you catch them live, hellava good time.

@raintheory3390 i was born in a small town in Virginia called Galax, only 4 miles from the blue ridge. I remember every august they had a big old time bluegrass convention, they still have it, and people say the town was the home of the first bluegrass band to be recorded. but i got tired of same thing over and over i went into rock music, moved to roanoke and didnt look back, but hearing some of these more modern bluegrass bands is like a breath of fresh air, i think its great.
