I honestly love that the artist actually progresses her age. It makes it feel like your truly watching her grow up.

it kinda hurts my soul to know that brutus was a full grown dog even retired from military duty which would put him at least at 8 years old, given his breed assuming that he doesn't develop hip dysplasia (which in a german shepherd is almost a certainty) that gives him 4-5 good years, if he does develop hip dysplasia he only has about 2 years of good activity before becoming less and less active due to hip pains, cats on the other hand have a life expectancy of at least 15 years old, and it's fairly common to see 20 year old cats so pixie will greatly outlive brutus.

I love when pixie mispronounces things, like "camel floss" and "crystal kiss" Its too cute!!

It was so wholesome realizing that these were based off real life animals Just knowing that Brutus has a real dog who's been in the real military really hits hard And seeing the videos on how strong pixie and Brutus as relationship is just magical

It's a little funny how after pixie hit the fridge two of the magnets spelled ko above her head

I noticed how when the maker of the comic made pixie older, they gave Brutus grey fur. Shows that life goes by fast.
