you forgot how they are dirt cheap to buy and maintain. im 18, work in a city at a fast food restaurant, and was able to buy a 2023 with no issues. its my first real payment and its only like $100 a month and $4 a month for insurance (abusing my dad’s motorcycle insurance) which i can easily do double or triple payments on. im out here straight out of high school with a 750 credit score because i daily a grom to work.

Im looking into buying my first bike, it’ll be a grom. My mom won’t be too happy but I’m 20 already. But I feel so glad too have such a big grom community too help and give guidance.
  • I’ve been daily riding my Honda grom for just over a year now I’m around 9 stone and don’t have many performance mods and I can get 75-80mph out my grom and still get around 140mpg it’s insane I absolutely love the Grom I’ve got so many friends to get one it’s amazing
  • I purchased a new '23 Grom on March 1st. On April 15th I had double-bypass open heart surgery at 75 years of age. Two days ago I rode my Grom to my doctor's follow up appointment. He was not happy with me, but my wife and I (her on her new KLX230 Kawasaki) rode for 60 miles that day. The '23 grom has a 5 speed transmission; not 4 like the earlier versions and a bit more power from engine changes. With my 283lb weight the bike strains to make 57MPH and it actually goes faster and better in 4th gear than 5th. It has a little flashing overspeed light telling you to upshift, but riding at that speed it is at 7,300RPM....not above redline. I believe it is better to rev it higher rather than lug the engine so it does not make excessive heat. It has a fuel mileage indicator in the dashboard and running at speed gets 105MPG The bike is very comfortable riding at 45-47MPH and there gets 134MPG.
  • That little thing was just plowing through bumps and potholes while he was one handing and taking both hands off the bars. I'm impressed
  • The first thing you should know about a Grom, is that you should own one. When you get one your friends will also want to get one(some will).

Honestly pretty helpful since when I get my endorsement I'm gonna daily my grom. Also it's better to be at a stop in first gear so you can gtfo when cars are being dumb and I agree that you have to out smart cars since you can't out power them Congrats on 300!

Light sensors aren't by weight, its magnetic fields, and most bikes dont have enough metal to set them off. Most states allow you to go through a red after 5 mins if the way is clear. I've experienced this on bikes and in a semi during the winter when ice messed with the light system.
  • Just received a 2023 grom and I'm over here in western NC, my first tank lasted 200 miles 😂😊
  • Another pro would be that it's really easy to find aftermarket parts to customize

Had a 2014 in ... 2014, used to commute daily with it. Used to do country roads, highway. It was a lot of fun, no issues really except for when you need to accelerate out of danger. Often you got to slow down when needed. Still miss the Grom, going to buy a Navi next summer. Moved away from the city, no more highway to go to work so don't need to worry about top speed anymore. Have fun, stay safe
  • Dope vid, I really want one , I’m shooting for early 2024… wish me luck
  • Thought those Police Cars looked familiar. No idea how Youtube connected me with a Tulsa Vlogger but I am all in!!! Subbed up and dig the content my guy.
  • @CTRYDNCBR600
Nice to see other grom riders starting channels! Keep it up I’m subbed now✅🔥✊️
  • @Mr450pro
I bought a new 2022 for commuting and I only have 6miles to work, so no problem. The problem comes wenn I want to go on a long trip and I can’t use highways.
  • @basoncivicsi
I bought a 22 Ruckus a year ago. Its an okay commuter considering I only have about 6 miles of 35mph zones to contend with and a college campus. I think I am now going to sell it and get a Grom. The Ruckus just leaves me wanting more. I have modded it and it can go 50 downhill with a tailwind. Still just not enough. Thanks for the pros and cons brother!
  • @masondrip42
