The literal only thing that bothered me about this was the "my pearl" bit. White doesn't value pearl enough to call her "my pearl". Gems don't use the word "my" in a possessive sense like humans do, they use it to signify loyalty and admiration. That's why we've only ever seen lower class gems use it, not "upper crusts" like the diamonds. Still, ignoring that tiny detail. I like the idea of our pearl being the original white pearl. It would make it all the more terrifying since white would be hierarchal wise higher than pink for Pearl's submission.
