The Future of Masculinity In The Age of AI

Published 2023-09-14
Men today are more likely to be addicted to pornography, online gambling, virtual binging, gaming, virtual loneliness, to name all but few.

In this video, I discuss the problems with us men today (myself included), and what will be required to become what Nietzsche called "a more complete beast."

Problems with the modern man:

The Information Monkey: (4:56)
1. We’ve become undisciplined with our emotions (4:49)
2. We’ve decided to consume entertainment over wisdom (7:20)
3. We’ve lost all desire for aggressive, productive action (8:48)

Solutions to the man of the future:

The Information Monk: (11:06)

1. Paying constant attentions and presence of mind (11:59)
2. Loving the pain of true wisdom (14:39)
3. Becoming info-dynamic (19:47)

Also too the movie Fight Club covered this topic in GREAT detail. Tyler Durden talked about this in the early 2000's. The message is still the same....the environment a little altered however.

Information monks, ❤ But tyrants & Politicians hate enlightened beings, they hate someone who would rise above their social status.
  • Ngl, i needed this video. I'll write the important points in a commonplace book. I appreciate it greatly and hope you continue to make videos like this.

I have a genuine question. Your message in this video is pretty valuable and motivational, but you directed it at men specifically, when a lot of things you says and recommend could be applied at humanity in general, such as rational thinking, wisdom, self knowledge. So my question is, why limiting this interesting message to men, when it could valuable for and applicable by women too ?

The tragedy of modern man is not that he knows less and less about the meaning of his own life, but that it bothers him less and less. Vaclav Havel. - Thanks for the Analysis!

Amazingly profound and savagely poignant; AI will accelerate our self-destruction, the essence of this video should be embraced by all. Unfortunately, MOST will cower to social norms. Create your own patterns, practices and protocols, time is running out.
