I absolutely hate how people treated scott for fnaf world. It was scott's own dedication to his life's work, almost every element calling back to his old catalogue. Unfortunately, he saw how anything that broke the fnaf formula was hated and rejected and so we will likely never see anymore unique, mold-breaking works from him.
  • @tub3t04d
My conspiracy is that FNAF World is the only canon game
  • @benwelsh5265
The key to solving FNAF Lore being the one FNAF game Scott is ashamed of is such a Scott Cawthon move I can't deny the potential validity of it. It would be peak troll behaviour and be the most upsetting, funny and kind of evil genius solution he could cook up.
  • @WinterPains
15:24 You know what? Im genuinely happy that I can consider FNAF World a canonical entry in the series, because its a good game.
  • @cleaveuntome42
Is it too "Meta" if the rouge indie developer is actually Scott saying "someone screwed up, I couldnt fix it in time and now you all need to accept some inconsistencies"
  • @ratdoesstuff6463
Basically summarized all of fnaf with that “yes I’m serious, yes its cursed, LET ME EXPLAIN.”
  • @the_enderslayer
As much as I don't like it, everything seems to be fitting into the internal consistency that was established back in Help Wanted of everything before it being fake and the story as we know it no longer being true. They told us outright and we thought that only applied to the first 4 games, but with the possibility of the first 7 all being "fabrications". The lore of everything afterward is so much more internally consistent.

24:23 Needs Jeremy to fulfill his role. Just like how Vanessa is fulfilling the bunny killer role. No wonder the Mimic considers himself the Storyteller. He wants to tell the stories of the indie games in real life, no matter how much pain and agony it brings. Super awesome theory video. I love how in depth and interesting this theory is!
  • @steffenakdag5422
This theory was mindblowing, i love theories like these that makes the timeline feel even more deep then i originally thought it was
  • @astral_ally
All these theories you've made are more compelling then anything I've heard before. You don't upload as often as other people, but when you do it's f*cking amazing. And I'm surprised each time.
  • @firestorm3k882
I can't believe Steel Wool and Scott are doing Dream Theory 2.0 with this whole everything you've grown to love in the story of Fnaf is fabricated. Henry, Charlie, William, Michael... none of these characters we've come to know and love in the lore of Fnaf were ever real people in Fnaf's story. Just some made up characters made by some in-universe indie game developer... I don't mean to sound toxic or anything. It's just how I personally feel about the story's current direction.

This theory (mainly the last bit about Glitchtrap) is interesting, but there is a flaw in it. Collecting the memories is not folloung the 'Glitchtrap route'. You see, collecting all the Fazbear action figures is what triggers the ending where Glitchtrap emerges from a pod and Nightmarionne STAFF bots attack the player. However, collecting the memories unlocks the 4th Princess Quest arcade, where **Glitchtrap is killed**, squashed unwilling by Vanny. So why would Glitchtrap want to go down a path that leads to his death to corrupt someone, when we absolutely know his death isn't required to do so? And why would Glitchtrap be involved with getting someone to play a Princess Quest game, something that has been key to fight Glitchtrap, freeing his victims? I definitely feel you have some good points, but like an Ace Attorney case, the contradictions are too much.
  • @AshlyTheWolfy
fnaf world is like the opposite of "comes back to bite ya" it was a bite at the start then became more helpful
  • @NoobyTNT
Despite leaning myself towards the boat of "books are mostly parallels", I've been having similar theories like you for a while. Yet you made new observations that never occured to me, such as the inclussion of the FNAF World dev and Glitchtrap brainwashing Jeremy to be one of the bullies. The way you present this information is very compelling and entertaining. That being said, I think there's still 1 thing that you haven't addressed yet, why does The Mimic want to recreate events/people from the fnaf games in the first place? And I think I may have an answer(?) If we follow what you said in the video, Ruin Mimic is the same from the books right? Which means he's ALSO The Storyteller. A program made specifically to create new stories using pre-existing data... liiiiike the fnaf games. This could explain why The Mimic "casts" Jeremy and Gregory to fit the roles of fnaf game characters. It may explain Curse of Dreadbear and Princess Quest as they're retellings of FNAF4 and Vanessa's story respectively, remixed with popular stories such as frankenstein and fantasy tales. This could also explain the wall code, a prophecy/script made for Gregory just so the kid can play as the protagonist of a story The Mimic/Storyteller created, a story in which he cast himself as the villain.

Stormister out here bringing heliocentrism to a fandom that believes geocentrism holy shit
  • @OzoneYT
This is definitely an interesting new perspective to look from and consider, man I love FNAF World lmao. Enjoyed the video! :)
  • @Zeldaslightforce
2 things. 1. Your avatar is actually so cute I can't get enough of it lol. 2. I love sitting through your vids I can't explain it but you have a very good tone to relax to. Also keep up all this amazing work your vids are always worth waiting for!(that's 3 things I guess. Yes this is a FNAF movie reference)
  • This is the most well-constructed theory I’ve seen in a long time! Nice work! I’ll be keeping this second take in my back pocket in case the next features in the series start to lean in this direction.
  • @enchilordo8562
Bro I NEVER realized the HW2 credits theme was the FNAF world Halloween ambience! That’s actually awesome
  • @faristsc6631
Look, I agree, that FNaF World is way too overlooked by theorists, but I just can't get ober the idea, that the games are not canon. I just can't get over all of this. Imo the fact that ennard, baby and others are in HW2 is because of the agony of some of the characters that died in the Fnaf 6 ending. I love, rhat your theories make room for fresh ideas. Thanks for another entertaining one.
