IM SOBBING RIGHT NOW. You can really see the sadness in his eyes the moment he knew. I hope he’ll be okay.

My mom passed from Alzheimers. It was excruciating to watch her, especially when she couldn't remember our names. I wish you all the best Chris.
  • This hit me so hard. Both my dad's parents had Alzheimers with my grandmothers was far worse. My dad is 70 and for about 10 years has shown real signs of memory deterioration as he constantly forgets saying things or asking the same questions repeatedly. I'm 33 and frequently forget things but I think it's primarily due to some sleep issues. Take care of yourselves people. 🙏

i hope he doesn't reach to that point of the disease of don't remember anything, Chris is awesome in every way and that will be so sad
  • Chris Hemsworth what an amazing guy to put himself through such challenging trails. Such a great dad and husband ❤

He’s literally the personification of a golden retriever. He motivated me when I was at low point dealing with this girl and I always felt better and got through it. Definitely someone whose lifestyle, at the present, who I want to model after.

I pray for his safety. I hope he’ll be able to pull through.
  • Hopefully this will have all people another perspective of where they are today, where life is taking them and the motivation to make positive changes. This is a blessing of a message for Chris and the rest of us.
  • People may say that they'd rather not know that they have a risk of Alzheimer's, but knowing that you have that risk and facing it, would only prove positive actions of which you should take.
  • The thought of forgetting the life you lived, and forgetting the ones who love you… it’s worse than DEATH! My grandma has Alzheimer’s disease and it’s heartbreaking knowing that she sometimes forgets who I am and where she is. It’s a devastating disease and one day I hope that a cure can be found. We stand by you Chris. We are all praying for you that you make it out of this OK!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
  • I respect Chris for sharing this and stepping back from his work to spend time with his family. I honestly learned a lot from this show. Truly helpful, interesting stuff.

All they did was scare him , and make him anxious when he is a very healthy individual that s why he even was in this documentary, i wish him all the best and i am sure he will be a’ight. Everyone should make healthy choices for their own benefit, and i hope everyone reading this and watching will improve daily and be better with each day passing, you are very strong as long as you believe it!

Chris Hemsworth is such an humble actor. Its sad that Alzheimers is in his genetics and I understand why he takes a break from playing Thor and acting. He wants to spend time with his family and kids, before he forgets them when he gets Alzheimers when he is older.
  • @shadowsaiyan
I was so alarmed when I first heard the news, but it's comforting to hear there are things Chris or anyone can do to minimize the risk. He's an awesome human being & I'd also love to see his Thor reunite with Loki on screen at least one more time.
