Mars speakers vs Bose Sound link vs JBL SB400...

Very basic sound comparison of these speakers. This is NOT a professionally recorded video. I simply used my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 mic so the sound quality won't be fantastic.

Best to listen using headphones. Also note the sound quality of the JBL soundbar was not picked up very well by my phone. It sounds MUCH MUCH better in person than what this video portrays. You'll also notice the subwoofer sounds much louder when I move towards it nearer the end of the video.

Overall the sound of the Mars is average to good but not outstanding. This is based on my personal opinion of how well the Mars speakers are able to convey the various frequencies to my ears. After listening to my favourite songs via DACS/Headphone amps and studio monitors for years then comparing them to the Mars, there's simply no comparison.

If you're into high sound quality then you will understand my perspective. Otherwise these speakers will sound good to the average listener.

That being said I think they are, without doubt, the best looking Bluetooth speakers on the planet. The Levitation and build quality are out of this world!!

** UPDATE ** Yes the Bose is definitely clearer. Compare from 1min 30sec (Mars) then 3mins 50secs. Also the Mars has more bass.

    So you'd say the bose is the best sounding? I know the soundlink isnt waterproof like the Mars, which is whats awesome bc im pretty sure its a perfect beach & outdoors device

    How would you rate the mars system against the sonos play 1? I had a bose soundtouch bluetooth speaker but it sounded awful, so I took it back in exchange for the play 1. It sounds amazing for its size but it doesnt support bluetooth. Im still in the market for a decent sounding bluetooth speaker that I can pack into a bag and take with me.

    I got the sb400 it is the best soundbar in its price range and I rate it highly especially for its bass plus you need to set it up properly, which you probably haven't
