  • I need to see Dracula in one of these. He's very well-described in the book, and yet none of the movies get it right.

"A little too beautiful to be natural" that actually describes Howl in the movie really well 🤣
  • Howl is a competent Gilderoy Lockheart if he was from Wales. Howl's moving castle is a very interesting story. The book and the movie are very different but both were created by people who grew up during WW2 and used their different mediums to process the trauma in diametrically opposing ways. One used his medium to make sure no one forgets the horrors of war and the other used her medium to make a place for children to escape war. Both are very respectful of each other and the author of the book considers the book as how Sophie would tell the story and the movie as how Howl would tell the story. The movie has a more chill vibe while the book goes way more into the plot but I would recommend both.

No joke, during the Robert Langdon one, I said, “That just looks like Tom Hanks!” Genuinely impressed with the accuracy of that depiction from text alone
  • its safe to assume that all characters he draws are all played by tom hanks
  • @AdVapidKudos
Although I knew the first prompt was Howl, I also thought it was a really good description and depiction of Lockhart.

Howl, Edward, and Snape were the only ones in the series so far I guessed right away just based on the descriptions - but particularly Howl. Likes to dye his hair? The earrings? Dead giveaways, and such a great reminder of how building a memorable character doesn’t take anything crazy, just a bit of creativity!

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that Jazza likes the brushes that he created with Alisha.
  • @dima_keller
Now I can't wait for Jazza and Lavender Town collab. She got such a unique beautiful style
  • @deaddawgz
i saw Howl and clicked instantly, both because he's incredibly attractive but also because i know they took a lot of creative liberties with him in the Ghibli film!!
  • Man, he really nailed it in the drawing of Lisbeth! Its been some time since I read the books but this is such a good representation that I knew it was her before the drawing even started!
  • It's crazy how similar the sketch of Number 3 looked like Tom Hanks before we knew it was a character played by Tom Hanks!

I've read Howl's Moving Castle countless times. There are other descriptions in the book which would have changed the way he drew Howl (in particular, the clothes and hair) which would have brought Jazza's drawing closer to how I imagine him. Even without the thumbnail, I would have immediately known that the description was of Howl. 😂
  • Honestly the moment I saw Howl I clicked. Those three books will always be one of my all time favourites. Diana Wynne Jones really did an incredible job with the books 💕
  • @stephii993
For the Da Vinci Code, it looked accurate after I saw the picture, however I still 100% think you drew Bill Murray 😂
  • @Typhon6
"Subtle" and "Tasteful" are absolutely not 2 words I would use to describe Howl
  • @Jack93885
Jazza's intuition with this is actually incredible
  • With character three, as soon as "swimmer's physique" came up, my thoughts went to Robert Langden, mainly because I don't know any other character described that way. Then Jazza started painting and I was like "Hey, that does look like Tom Hanks!" I love how similar the art and movie depiction are. Good job!

Definitely need a 4 character video with Clark Kent, Bruce Wayne, Superman, and Batman. It'd be really fun to mess with him, and a very interesting experiment to see how people associate different descriptions with the same characters.
