Despite being a 10+ Years Old Version of the game, Alpha still remains to be one of the HARDEST and most BRUTAL versions of the game. With only a limited number of blocks, a different health system, NO BEDS to sleep away the night, and the introduction of the Nether; Minecraft Alpha 1.2.6 is EXTREMELY difficult to survive in. I spent 100 Days in Old Minecraft (Alpha 1.2.6) and built mega structures like a Nether Island, a Pre 1.14 Village, a Lighthouse, a Castle, A Planet, and A Railway/Monorail.

I love how much fun it looks like you are having with this older version of minecraft. I saw another '100 days in minecraft alpha' where the dude was complaining the whole time about how plain and empty it was. But you are just being creative and having fun building all kinds of stuff. You are the positivity that we all need.

For those curious, Alpha 1.2.3 had leaf decay but A1.2.3_01 disabled it due to an infinite loop bug that crashed the game when leaves decayed outside of a few chunks of the player. Fire can still deal with the leaves, however leaving fire burning for to long or leaving the area can cause the blocks to burn forever until broken, probably from the buggy firespread. 1.2.6 didn't really add much to the game besides lakes and lava pools. Its fun to play these old versions

Dude I love the structures you built in your world. Your creativity made it seem like it was from Alpha because back then we didn’t have a lot of variety so we did the best with what we had and this took me way back. Thanks for the vid, will be dropping a sub.

i really enjoy the beauty of this game and the players, i like how people come back to this version and just have fun, they dont try and beat every boss or get the best gear, they just care about making their world beautiful.

honestly. something cool i've seen no one do when it comes to 100 days videos for the old minecraft versions (pre adventure update) are the mods people have made like Better than Adventure, Reindev, Indev+ (a indev mod), Better than Wolves, and so on. you could do something different if you decided to do this. think about it.

Old Minecraft can be unsettling too when your mind thinks that something is watching you. And the cave sounds especially Disc 11 its terrifying to hear

You're the 2nd person I enjoyed watching playing Alpha Minecraft. Id love to see either a Beta 100 days continuing from the same world or s new one or a multiplayer 100 days. But you're probably exhausted from doing a challenge like this.
