My favorite line in Haegeum is: "You must remember to differentiate freedom from self-indulgence."
  • @Livi.xaracb
And in the last concert of his tour, he finally managed to walk out that door, leaving his alter ego Agust D behind.

I personally think BTS is more than just a boy band / group. I believe they are SOUL SPEAKERS 💜
  • This trilogy will go down on music history. It's legendary. Now you have seen enough to realise why we venerate these group as artists and get really frustrated at those that dismiss them on the basis of a few pop songs in english. There is NO ONE more sincere and genuine than BTS.
  • @missm7295
In Daechwita the 2 men fighting behind Suga in the alley are actually Jin and Jungkook, there is a behind the scenes video of them playing their cameo parts.

Bro SUGA the king of rap. 🔥
  • Think you might have missed the appearance of the scar. It's an almond shaped part of the brain that records trauma, permanently, always there and on. It's supposed to connect to the fight flight reflex to keep you alive but can work against a person who needs to recover from trauma. Suga and RM read a book about this called Almond. Thanks for reacting to this beautiful song. 💜💝💜
  • I love all BTS men, but oh man, Suga stole my heart.......that thief!! LOL 💜
  • This is my daughter’s bias (Suga) Agust D💜. We went to see his movie in theaters and she cried the whole time lol. She love’s this man💜💜💜💜

I still think you need to watch the DKDK TV explanation for Daechwita. There's so much more to the mv than you think there is. It's actually historically significant. Man loves to "fight" himself. In the MVs and even in the skit he did for The Tonight Show when he went there to perforn Haegeum...that was funny.
  • Not gonna lie. I cried for 30 minutes after watching Amygdala for the first time.
  • @Yoon4Ever93
He and RM do not get enough credit for being rappers, writers (and producer Suga), and holding their own with dancing.
  • @ChampagneGguk
Suga's Studio is called GENIUS LAB! so yeah my SugaBaby is a genius 😏
  • Suga is very honest and introspective artist. He uses his music as a form of therapy, when a song is out, that part of his experience is out of his system. Amygdala is also responsible for the fight-or-flight response. Ex. If you almost drowned, you will be scared of water (very simplified but I hope the idea comes through). Also very important note, in mv SUGA is trapped in his amygdala (room with door and no walls), but at the last day of his last concert tour D-DAY, he walked out through that door on stage, with a smile. Thank you for checking out the whole trilogy. Have a good weekend! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
  • FIRST: Before anyone objects to what I'm writing. It is backed up by interviews, authorized books, and Suga's own lyrics. Suga doesn't fictionalize when he's Agust D. I use Suga's Amygdala (Ah - mig - da - la) MV as an opening hook when I teach about the limbic system of the brain which includes the Amygdala. It is triggered by trauma and floods our brain with neurotransmitters that cause the fight or flight syndrome. It was important in our survival as a species... because once triggered it repeats whenever anything similar happens so we will avoid that thing. Ex. You are attacked by something when you enter cave. After that you may have acute anxiety when it's dark... or in an enclosed space. In modern times this can be an issue though because long after the trauma you go through it again whenever those conditions are similar or even if you think about it. His pill use likely wasn't just about the shoulder pain but also coping with trauma he had repressed. But Suga got treated and he's been thorough therapy. He valued it so much that he told us in a live that if he had time to do the courses, he would like to become certified as a mental health counselor. If you notice. He couldn't open the door alone... He needed help. If you watch the ppening of his D-Day tour... he is carried in and put on the floor of the stage as you see him at the end in the room. At the end though.... THIS TIME... he was able to open the door and leave. Pay attention... a closed door frequently pops up in many of their dark videos. Remember RM's Come Back to Me? Watch it again.

3 masterpieces!🥰🎶 I really hope Suga can make more music videos in the future. He’s got what it takes—powerful musical abilities, lots of creativity, & substantial acting chops.💜
  • The songs/MV's in short... Daechwita: Pissed off about those saying he wouldn't/couldn't make it as an artist. Those who pushed him down (or tried to hold him back) before the album was released. So, he "shoots" those in the past (not really himself) who tried to hold him back/push him down. Haegeum: He wanted the fame (rather, a contract, to do what he loves - make music), the money (he was from a poor family - mostly due to medical issues), etc. However, at some point, he realized that 1 - Fame and money isn't "all there is to life". 2 - He didn't want to be that "slave" to social media/the fame/that money. If he'd gone on as he was, at the time, it would have been easy to get "hooked" on all that stuff. Hence...he "shoots" his future self to erase that self and just live life NOW. Thus, wherever life takes him now, he just wants to enjoy the ride. Amygdala: He wanted to break free. To understand and move on from the past traumas. Everything he shows (the accident) and talks about (dad's cancer, mom's heart problems) in the song happened! Even though he was still trapped in the end of the MV - by making this album - THIS specific song - he has now freed himself, as shown on the very last day on his D-Day tour. He is finally able to "get out of his own head" by walking through that exact door. Agust D was the name he used to "get his anger out". He has said, Agust D has run his course. He's free. He no longer feels the anger and hatred he did with his first 3 albums (Agust D, D-2, and D-Day). So, MANY of us ARMY feel that while we may get some SUGA solo albums after his enlistment time is up...we don't think we will get any more AGUST D solo albums. (Although, with BTS, never say never, of course....LOL) It can be weird to think about them (Yoongi, Suga, and Agust D) as separate people, but all of us are the same, really. You're not going to act the same way with your boss as you do with your partner. You're not going to act the same way with your siblings as you do with your best friend. You're not going to act the same with someone you've known for decades as you do with someone you just met for the first time. Thus, Agust D was just another PART of who he was, a different "face" to show the fans, at the time he was making those albums. Okay, I guess that wasn't so short after all....oops. LOL

Lets not forget that suga finally open the door and he's free . As a person who suffer from depression and anxiety for over 10y it's not something easy to live with it's such a big step . Let's be proud and show him that we have he's back and we will always be here 💙

Amazing Min Yoongi! 💜 A guy of incredible inner beauty! Very daring on the outside, but very soft-hearted on the inside! A wonderful person, a tremendous talent and the best rapper in the world! And what kind of texts he writes are beyond the bounds, this is aerobatics! Thanks to Suga, I started listening to rap (before that, I rarely liked any songs in this style). 💜🖤💜 "AMYGDALA" is my favorite song of his! 💜🤌💜 Thanks for your reaction.💗

Suga's shoulder surgery was November 2020. "That That" was April 2022. Suga's shoulder was completely healed. I promise you that if his doctor's told him he wasn't ready to dance in "That That" Suga would NOT have danced in it. He wanted his shoulder completely healed. He had been in tortuous pain for years. He went through months and months of intensive physical therapy after his surgery. He did therapy until it was completely healed. That specific surgery is one of the most challenging to heal from. Of note. Korean's pronounce Amygdala way different than the English version. A mig do luh.
