The late, great Robin Williams talks about air travel at the start of the post 9/11 era, early comic influences and his (then) upcoming movie "One Hour Photo". You can view the second part of this programme (where Robin is joined by Stephen Fry) at    • Television Archive: Parkinson Stephen...  , on palimpsest2011's channel.

RIP ... you wonderful, wonderful funny man.

  • Probably the funniest man I have ever seen. Hugely missed. Yes, he was, without doubt a comedic genius.
  • Out of control, untamable, unpredictable and sharp as a tac. Always a place in our hearts.

There will never be another talent like Robin. RIP.
  • He is the only comic that brought me to tears of laughter and tears of sadness. He is truly missed. Never will be another Robin. RIP
  • The world is certainly a more dull place without Robin Williams.... Thankfully we have access to so much of his awesome material... I hope he is resting peacefully.
  • It still hurts terribly, especially to know that Robin died alone and in such despair. I wish he could have known how much he was loved and admired by so many. Making people laugh is a beautiful legacy, I really hope he is in a better place. RIP Robin and Parky. Both masters of their art.
  • I can't believe I actually forgot how damn good he was. Incredible talent, non stop, original and so gifted. I had tears of laughter in my eyes throughout. He was like an explosion of creativity, the most gifted funny man of all time.

The most spontaneous comedian there ever was! He was a bright light in a dark room & his energy & imagination & spontaneity was unmatched. He was loved by all & missed by many more. His comic genius was amazing & I consider myself lucky to have lived during his heyday. Robin, I imagine you doing one liners in heaven while the angels laugh their wings off, RIP & Thank You 🙏🏻 ❣️

The flame that burns twice as bright burns half as long... and Mr Williams burned so very, very bright!
  • I saw him live in S.F. for a two hour show. My face literally hurt for hours after...He was brilliant. I actually miss him...
  • @keeks2030
He actually turned a Parkinson interview into stand up. God bless this man.
