    So the range of the shotgun is still the same. But the reason why Tac-Stance is so broken on shotguns is because you can individually customize it to either be pin-point essentially, or a mix between hipfire and ADS. The tighter pellet spread means the pellets can hit an enemy more consistently versus hipfire, while not having the opportunity to miss since it's not ADS accurate. It just makes the gun far more consistent versus hipfiring, or ADS.
