"Sonic literally jumped out of the TV and began violently beating the everliving shit out of me. I assumed it was just a glitch and continued on"

While 99% of creepypastas are awfully written, I can't help but love them for their purpose as a gateway drug for horror fans

I still think herobrine was one of the creepiest of the list. There was no over exaggerated details like bloody eyes and hyper-realistic this and that. Just the idea of another entity existing in a world where only you are supposed to be is creepy.
  • The Mario Party piracy one is honestly funny. Like, can you imagine buying a pirated game but you didn’t know that and then all of a sudden Mario characters are in your room trying to beat the shit out of you? Hilarious.
  • I love how the story is never scary but then the picture attached is terrifying
  • My favorite part of these creepy pastas is when the authors pirate a game they haven't played before, yet still somehow notice all the subtle little things that are wrong

The most horrifying thing on here is the idea of someone pirating Plants vs Zombies. That game is like 99 cents on steam every other week.

fun fact: I HATE YOU was in reality a Creepypasta born as a straight up parody of the many creepypastas at the time. Even so, the Creepypasta still became viral even if it had multiple clichés and predictable stuff.

Really nice of the evil Sonic to leave his new friend a commemorative piece of merchandise based on himself as a reward for finishing his spoopy Sonic romhack.

I love how “the Hands talks about how Mark should go back 30 years”, and he realizes that it means about his old save file… but Ocarina of Time is only 24 years old…

I like how jack the ripper didnt have anything extremely off about it, like the character coming out of the screen and coming for him, it's just a story about the game, and how you play it, and this is very much possible and it sounds genuinely realistic.
  • The literal instant he talks about Sunny laughing my neighbor laughs unnecessarily loudly and unnervingly. Cool.

regarding lavender town, it's the first pokemon graveyard in the series, but in later games such as the gen 3 games, there's been other pokemon graveyards, but none have had a creepypasta involving them. so, it's not the only pokemon graveyard in the whole series, but it's the most well known one :)
  • i fell asleep watching a Quandale Dingle video and woke up watching the last 6 minutes of this, from what i heard, this is a really good video! keep up the good work.
  • @TitusX49
The Theater is surprisingly realistic for a creepypasta. It almost seems like someone could make a similar game as some sort of art game thing… at least in semi-current times
  • @dreampillet
1:31:13 : "The screen went black and all he could hear was Mario's horrifying screams" Mario's horrifying screams: "Whoao!" "Ay ay ay ay!" "Ouch!" "Mama mia!" I think the author didn't think that part through... Anyways, great video! There were many I wasn't familiar with!

Lets go more icebergs, is it just me or are these mad addicting
  • @kuro456
I remember watching a video that explains that the 'tunnels' herobrine built were probably from how minecraft seed generation works differently in different updates

Gaming creepypastas always remind me of a dream I had when I was about 6. I was playing Porsche Challenge, a racing game I had for the PS1, but on the track selection screen there was a racetrack named "[My name] is dead", and the image of the track was replaced with an extremely blurry image of what looked like a birds-eye view of somebody lying on grass, face-up. I suppose that dream was my introduction to the concept of games not acting as they should.
