People I know don't understand the connection that Marines have.If you don't understand it don't try to cause unless you are a Marine you will never get it. Even as a Poolee for the Duluth MN Marines I see how much my recruiters are there for me and for my fellow poolee's. They have not given up on me even though sometimes i have given up on myself. Unless you have been there, you have no idea what it is like rolling into Paris Island on the bus, stepping off into the warm humid July air and standing upon those yellow foot steps. Then September comes and you walk across that parade deck with your Eagle, Globe and Anchor upon your collar. The feeling of knowing you are now a member of the greatest fighting force in the world, is euphoric. Those that know, hold your heads up proudly, to those that don't, well I don't know what to tell ya! Semper Fi my fellow Devil Dogs!!!!
