In case you're curious how the "animation" was done, basically she's standing there in a motion tracking suit, and the 3D model is imposed onto her.

So this was Hoshimachi Suisei from Hololive. She had a second first take with her song "Michizure" as well. Especially in Japan anonymous performance has a long history. Artists would wear masks, then move on to the internet without a facecam and now it is Vtubing. So it has always been a very artsy scene. But i dont think they take over yet. Few Vtubers have had charting songs like Suisei. Of course her appearances on The First Take, on TV-Programs old radio and on music festivals will open the door to other V-singers as well.

Suisei is just phenomenal, there are a lot of talented ladies in Hololive but Suisei is my favorite for sure.

Stellar stellar and Ghost are just ... Breakouts. And they story in the songs hit hard
