I can't believe I've never heard of Mike Cheney! But what a magnificent bass player!

Lovin' Everette Harp. Such a great saxophonist !!

The concept of the show is to bring together musicians of different genres that for the most part, have never played together. Rock or funk players generally don't have a natural feel for jazz and visa versa. The challenge is to find a mid point to make it work with everyone and to be musical. When you can do that the objective is reached and I think we succeeded. We play the parts to make everyone comfortable. Not trying to prove how authentic we can play whatever. Finding fault with someone's playing serves no purpose. Collectively it works. It's about making the music feel good the best way we can with the musicians we have playing. I'm the drummer.

I like the subtlety of the piano player…☮🔥

Love it when they get to the jamming with minimum of discussion. Great session; great piece. Great Miles Davis. Outstanding musicians!

This is my favourite lineup of the series, keep coming back to their tracks. Everybody plays quite tastefully, I also like the bassplayer, that he is not a jazzhead, it gives the music a good vibe.
