  • “There are 3 violent offenders in my house” “How do u know?” Bro who hired her 💀
  • @KaySkywalker
Wow. That dispatcher has no business taking 911 calls. I'm so sorry, Penny 😢
  • @relaxx8986
For those of you who would like to know: the dispatcher was disciplined and no longer taking calls but the company didn’t say whether or not she was fired or if she was taking emergency calls for other companies.

Imagine not even sending an officer to at least investigate someone hiding in a bush. Whether it be a mental health crisis or not, that was absolutely disgusting.
  • I hope that Australian dispatcher sees this video and is haunted by it for the rest of her life. That was just pure stupidity. “I know you’re hiding, but can you speak loudly and answer a 20 question survey? Otherwise we can’t help you”.
  • “Why are you hiding in a bush?” GEE, lady, why would someone hide in a bush and call emergency services? That totally doesn’t sound like either A) someone hiding from an attacker or B) a psychotic episode where they are convinced that’s what’s happening. BOTH need to be addressed with police/ambulance. My goodness gracious, I wanted to punch that operator in the TEETH.

I’ve experienced this type of unhinged reaction from an emergency response caller, she misaligned my frankness for rudeness and started bargaining the police assistance. I didn’t know what I had to do to get her to send the police and I ended up getting violently attacked. The police weren’t sent. Emergency responders need to be vetted to establish whether they’re an unhinged, crazy person or not.

There are 911 operators that have helped victims who called asking for pizzas and just started random conversations because they were in dangerous situations, the operators quickly realized what was going on and actually saved lives in this manner. I believe that all operators should be trained to treat all calls as though they were "tricking the suspect" phone calls. It may be a waste of time most of the time, but the lives that do get saved will make it worth the trouble.

I'm from Melbourne Australia and we had to listen and study Penny's call in my training on what NOT to do. Absolutely disgusting, and I can't believe the operator wasn't fired! My heart breaks for Penny 💔 😢

The lady who took Penny's call is absolutely ridiculous. She definitely should be charged for Penny's murder. The fact she didn't even notify the police after Penny's desperate cries for help is baffling to me. I hope the lady heard what happened and is haunted by the thought that she let someone get murdered because she sucks at her job. R.I.P Penny, you deserved better

The dispatcher who answered the call from Penny needs to be held accountable, she has no business answering 911 calls, it's okay, Karma is looking for her!!

I just wanted to say that I appreciate that you add your own subtitles 🙏🏼 I don’t focus on what’s being said as well unless I can read it too and YouTube subtitles aren’t great sometimes. So thank you
  • The 2nd operator was disgusting. Still the worst call ive ever heard was woman that drowned..
  • @Tanya_Maria
I was once almost killed partly because of a dispatcher. I was outside in a bush hiding from a person who took my keys and threatened to destroy my apartment AND was violent against me to begin with. The dispatcher told me to go in front of the door right away to wait for the police and hang up. The guy came outside and saw me instantly and started to kick me in the head until the police came. I'm happy I'm still alive!

I am not surprised that the second one took place in Australia. I’ve had several bad experiences with the Australian police and emergency department, but luckily, none of them were as awful as Penny’s dispatcher. The most recent one I had was the worst I’ve experienced so far. One of the paramedics didn’t tell me or anyone else that my oxygen levels were low (had to find that one out from my gp). The blonde Australian nurses and paramedics were gossiping and making fun of my medical history (me having a few heart conditions is really funny apparently) and they also made fun of my physical appearance (they found it really funny that I had makeup on). They also yelled at me in the waiting room, and told me to “never call the ambulance ever again” even though I didn’t— a registered nurse did that for me, and I told them this several times beforehand. They think that humiliating patients is hilarious. They’re like your typical high school mean girls who think they’re the shit. That’s what Australian nurses are. I had to file a complaint and those nurses and paramedics were given a “warning”… but I don’t know how true that is. -1000/10, don’t recommend.

“He brutally murdered his wife and daughter with a kitchen knife. Anyway we’d like to thank our sponsor DRIFT”
  • @noircat5
That woman honestly needs to be arrested for the murder of penny. Like the fact that she literally didn't tell the police after basically making the girl yell out everything is disgusting. Like I get needing certain information but she had enough information to at least do a welfare check if she didn't think it was an actual serious situation. God that woman is horrid, I hope she's haunted by this for the rest of her life.

FYI regarding the 2nd dispatcher. These points are noted in the coroner's report: - she was retrained as a fire call taker in 2011 just after Penny's death - she was formally counselled after the event and received a first and final warning about breaching the SOPs - she lost her police-taking calls qualification, was demoted, and received testing on taking difficult calls - she resigned in Nov 2012 due to media & publicity
