I got the ending where the loading screen never loaded my game

Donovan... the man, the myth, the legend. Loved him from the get go. and that ending man, just when I thought he couldn't get any more badass LOL

Anyone else think they should do a DLC of lincoln and Donovan running guns back in Vietnam? Personally I think that'd be badass.

Holy shit ending 1 is Ice Cold

IMO the best ending is leaving the city and having Vito run it. If Cassandra runs it the city becomes a ghost town after she kills a bunch of people, and the government shuts off funding. If Burke runs it he turns into a Tony Montana type and eventually gets gunned down and the city becomes a war zone. Based on the footage seen; I don't think Cassandra ending is canon. Burke could be, but everything still goes to shit. The death ending could be canon given the overall feel of the 'documentary', but its a bit of a downer and I don't think it was really in Lincoln's motive to run the place on his own after everything. The run together ending could be canon. Given its sort of a happy ending even if crime spreads all over the South. But for me it was never about Lincoln running the city. It was about revenge. The Vito ending, Vito finally gets a to the top, and turns NB into a great place. Sure Lincoln is 'on the run' but given everything that happened to him in his life there was no way he could have a normal life. It's either rule together, die, or leave with Vito in charge.

I never gave anything to Burke so he got mad and I had to kill him and in the end I chose to rule with Vito and Cassandra. I gave everything to Vito and only 1 part of the city to Cassandra. Vito deserves it after how awesome he was in Mafia 2 :)

I feel that leaving town is the true ending. Storywise, I can't see Lincoln becoming a major mobster. And the part where Vito took everything over - I love it! I hope we will get Mafia 4 soon and work for Vito in Vegas in the 70's.

If Mafia 4 is us playing as Don and taking on the Mob, count me in.

I like how there is no good ending, yet no bad ending. But mainly, I love the secret ending with Donovan.

I believe if (and when) Mafia IV comes out, Lincoln leaving town and Vito taking over will be canon. Donovan should be the protagonist in the 1970's where after years on the run, he lands in a South American city and works for the local outfits in exchange for leads on the remainder of his JFK conspirator list. Along the way (or in a DLC), Lincoln will show up and help him with some missions.

Mafia 3 might’ve not had the best gameplay structure and was buggy but holy hell the main missions with the set pieces and the story was excellent, the acting, the performances, the mo-cap, that realistic tone and so much more.

The first time I beat this game I left town . Truly the best ending
