"The body adjusts itself to the operations of the soul" This is a powerful statement.
  • Sin only feels good at that instant. Afterwards you feel empty and confused.
  • I’ve come to realize that self-control is a super power given to us by Jesus. If we can have self-control while simultaneously giving our fate up to the Lord….unstoppable!
  • I suffered terrible negativity due to a lack of catechesis as the Priest says. When you dont know how to defend yourself its hard to fight back against the accusations in your mind. The Church is really failing people by not preparing them for battle

I just saw Fr. Ripperger speak this weekend. I learned so much about the nature of demons an how they work to harm us. It's honestly incredible how little we know about the world beyond. God bless you all.
  • you don't need demons to enjoy sin... it's in our nature. Our flesh is constantly warring against the spirit
  • In this life everybody suffers so we need something to dull that suffering. Food, sex, even judgementalism helps us deal with suffering though not in a good way. A devoted prayer life, a closer relationship with God and our love ones are needed to help deal with suffering in the right way though it still won’t be easy. Redemptive suffering is extremely important… embracing one’s suffering as either penance of our own sins or for someone else. To offer up those sufferings to Christ on the cross! I also advise on at least trying to get a good spiritual director and surrounding oneself with devoted people to help each other physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Modern culture’s alienation has caused a lot of people to turn to food, sex, and judgementalism as sins and vices.

So simply and very well explained by Fr. Ripperger. I was raised Catholic with a full parochial education, but spent a few decades of my younger years lost in the sinful ways of “the world”. As one who has returned to the Catholic Church, I’ve had to dedicate much time and effort to get up to speed on living correctly. It is a struggle to turn away from sin and a hedonistic mindset that had become habitual. I would say that, especially these days, most young Catholics are not catechized properly at all, making the journey through the narrow gate all the more difficult. While I too often suffer spiritual setbacks, I seek to persevere against the tendencies of the world, it’s a worthwhile endeavor. Reading the Bible, prayer, especially the Rosary has been very helpful.

Love the Blessed Mother! Never, ever let go of her guiding hand that will lead us to Jesus. Pray the Rosary daily for her intentions. Thank you.

This is gold. I wish everyone in my (young) generation could watch this.
  • It's so appropriate to see this today. It's Oct 31 and the entire day I have felt so "dark" and my thoughts have been so negative. Thank you for helping me understand why I'm feeling this way. Tomorrow I will start anew! Happy All Hallows Eve, my Catholic friends!!!

4:30 That's gold right there. People don't want to know about their own faith.
