So, everybody in the comments complained about it being vague, pointless and too short. Well, these are short films. The whole beauty of short films is to artistically make a point in a very short time. This woman who is treated like crap fantasizes about defeating her job in a very literal way, being that her job centers around the roller skating statue. She "defeats" her job in her head, then she defeats her job in real life by walking away from it. It makes perfect sense. It's not meant to be a full movie, and it's not meant to be a video game. It's a short film, and a damn good one at that.

This is beautiful, the 1950's retro art style and the music fitts perfectly.

I love her shadow getting larger and larger at the end. 83 The symbolism of growing confidence and strength.. <3 

Did anyone else notice that the cleaning lady looked like the statue that had the spotlight over it?

This could be a really good game

Now that was a roller-coaster ride of a short if I've ever saw one. The only thing I didn't get was if the roller derby fantasy was a metaphor for confronting the "big boss man" and quitting. It sure seemed like it.

This is amazing, I actually do Roller Derby and I always imagine myself as a superhero when I put on my skates.

Very well done, and the displays of potential abilities weren't so in your face that they detracted from the story line at all, they were neatly inserted and used for effect IMHO, which is great for a final demonstration. I hope everyone involved is gainfully employed and enjoying life...Aloha.

This film is an inspirational masterpiece for anyone who understands!

This video makes perfect sense to me -- its "Jawn Henry" in new clothes -- the struggle of man (in this case, woman) vs. machine, or vs. cruel, inhuman life, the determination of the human spirit to not be snuffed out. Even the washerwomen among us bear lofty dreams, somewhere inside, that cannot be snuffed out. Bravo!

Why would she wash the floor with a sponge if she had a mop?
